Why is yeoman.io not made with yeoman #61
Comments
Duplicate of #36. But yep, I agree that this is an issue. :) |
so will be there a generator for jekyll? i think this organization will not be the only one who want to use yeoman and jekyll. |
There are a few generators for jekyll in development. I don't have an overview right now which one is the most up-to-date. |
I'm biased, but I would say the most up to date Jekyll generator is https://github.com/robwierzbowski/generator-jekyllrb. Yeoman and Jekyll 1.0+, Sass, Coffee, build, all that good stuff. |
@robwierzbowski comment on #36 so we don't forget ;) |
@robwierzbowski right, i am already using your generator and it works like a charm! |
Is there a rough timeline for deployment being handled? :)
|
@addyosmani I'm planning on adding deployment options this week. :) |
Opened an issue to discuss deployment options here: robwierzbowski/generator-jekyllrb#10 |
i was really a bit shocked, when i realised that the project it self doesn't use it own piece of software. could somebody explain me why there is no use of grunt, bower or even yeoman?
