i was really a bit shocked, when i realised that the project it self doesn't use it own piece of software. could somebody explain me why there is no use of grunt, bower or even yeoman?

Duplicate of #36. But yep, I agree that this is an issue. :)

so will be there a generator for jekyll? i think this organization will not be the only one who want to use yeoman and jekyll.

There are a few generators for jekyll in development. I don't have an overview right now which one is the most up-to-date.

I'm biased, but I would say the most up to date Jekyll generator is https://github.com/robwierzbowski/generator-jekyllrb. Yeoman and Jekyll 1.0+, Sass, Coffee, build, all that good stuff.

@robwierzbowski right, i am already using your generator and it works like a charm!
only thing that doesn't work built-in, is the automatic username.github.io deployment, but as you mention it in your repo, deployment steps will follow (hopefully soon).

Is there a rough timeline for deployment being handled? :)
