Important

Messaging notice, 2026-10-28: native linked-environment messaging is now in official T3 Code. For messaging, use the official v0.1.4-nightly.20261028.3824 or any later nightly. Do not install our standalone native messaging patch on it.

This factory release is a separate, unqualified, historical source preview. It is tied to its original nightly 3717 base and to the messaging and other components bundled with it. It has not been ported to or validated against nightly 3824 or any later nightly. Nothing here means official T3 Code includes this factory. Removing this preview's messaging layer, or replacing it with official linked environments, is not supported.

Migrating an existing T3 home that ran a patched build to an official nightly has not been verified.

The original release notes follow unchanged, and all of their limitations still apply. The tag, assets and source keep their original published bytes.

Native software factory · nightly 3717 experimental source preview

UNQUALIFIED EXPERIMENTAL SOURCE PREVIEW. Required frozen-lockfile installation, focused Vite+ tests, formatting/lint and affected-package typechecks did not complete because the validation host's Application Control rejected the installed Vite+ native module. The repository's affected-file gate is not passed. No qualified toolchain is established. Separately, native Windows-helper tests remain unproved. No executable binary distribution is included.

This source-only prerelease shares an unqualified candidate for inspection and disposable evaluation. Publication does not establish production, lifecycle, client, platform, provider, network or upgrade acceptance. The owner explicitly authorized source sharing with these validation limits. No executable binaries, signed installer or built client is distributed.

Only the complete final source is the factory installation unit. The ordered component series is messaging, command-job/tick modules, factory modules and shared runtime integration. Factory/command-job module-only revisions are not separate supported installations. Messaging remains a required, separately described prerequisite. PATCH-SERIES.json gives exact base/intermediate/final identities, paths, dependencies, order and hashes. The complete combined patch applies to the official base; the over-messaging alternative applies after the exact messaging component. Apply an alternative or the series, never both. The complete archive contains all source and notices. SHA256SUMS covers every attached asset.

The generic connector records claims, capacity, admitted work, worktrees, review/correction and guarded integration in native T3 services without an idle coordinator model polling worker completion. Models still do implementation and review. Policy commands and provider tools are trusted host execution; a digest is not a sandbox. The3717 version includes verified-artifact review bases for the same reviewed head, policy instructions for that evidence and owner-decision cards. Shared contracts, launch/orchestration hooks, services, migrations and clients remain coupled. No private project configuration, operational state or deployment tooling is included.

What passed:13 Node-only stage cases;154 Node syntax checks, with2 unsupported mobile cases left unqualified; and8 paused disposable source-CLI/RPC administrative steps on retained installed dependencies. That CLI proof verified public migrations1–74, paused zero capacity, stale-revision/checksum refusals, identical readback and zero threads/reservations with providers disabled. These checks are narrower than the repository gate and do not replace frozen-lockfile installation, Vite-focused tests, formatting/lint, affected typechecks or separately blocked real native-helper tests. A fake-subprocess build/cache fixture is included but is not native containment qualification. No blocked native binding was retried or bypassed.

Full34-case lifecycle acceptance, final-source restart/no-duplicate/idle proof, web/desktop/mobile parity, provider/platform/network coverage, real tracker/model review/correction/integration cycles, legacy retirement and existing-home upgrades remain open. Consumed-outcome rejection does not undo its effects. Historical Windows containment observations apply only to their tested source and cases. Public migration numbering is official68/69, messaging70 and factory71–74. Use a fresh home; this is not an upgrade package for older patched deployments or stable v0.1.2.

The47-link catalog distinguishes required capability lineage, optional later layers, already-upstream support, replacements and prior-art/closed history. It is not47 required cherry-picks. Julius Marminge's linked-environment work and Claude attribution remain; current16684 is not represented as merged. Optional17129/17130 are later layers. Support22445's zero-delta closure is not approval or a merge. The18 other-fork closed PRs are history, not quality rejection or abandonment. No original-solutions factory code was adopted.

Published by zainmitchell. The owner reports Claude Opus5.5 through T3 Code authored the additions and3717 port. GPT-6.1 Sol through Codex in T3 Code reconciled generic changes, scrubbed source and prepared this release. These credits do not claim independent review of every commit. T3's MIT notice and the patched MuseSDK1.4.6 MIT/Meta notice are retained. Free self-hosted community sharing is maintained while useful ahead of upstream support or a better replacement. No new PR, bot review, T3 endorsement, deployment or account/security-setting effect is part of this publication.

This is a distinct versioned, checksummed prerelease. Earlier tags/assets/releases are preserved. GitHub-enforced release immutability is disabled and is not claimed. Effective bot service/global privacy prevention remains unverified; no review was requested or resumed.

Community native factory source preview for nightly 3669

Only the complete final source is installable. The four module/integration patches are an ordered review/apply series, not separate supported installations. Apply all components in PATCH-SERIES.json order, or use the complete source archive. Shared runtime coupling is explicit in part 4.

  • Official apply base: 5f64c5eb299a23d278ef043c416bd4dc801bc53c.
  • Final public source commit: 574682104ff850d2265f6b23e91c6f207bc4c206.
  • Final source tree: 910033c1c4baaafbdd3c5f67643943217b23a335.
  • Complete source archive: native-factory-nightly3669-preview.1-source.tar.gz.
  • Component patches: messaging modules, command-job/tick modules, factory modules, shared native-runtime integration.
  • PATCH-SERIES.json records every exact intermediate commit/tree and patch hash. SHA256SUMS covers the attached assets.

The connector records tracker claims, capacity, admitted work, exact-head review/correction and integration operations in native T3 services. It avoids an idle coordinator model turn for lifecycle bookkeeping. Policy commands and providers remain trusted host execution.

Read the detailed source brief, install guide, dependencies and migrations, 47-link PR lineage and verification. This is a source preview, with no signed installer or built desktop/mobile artifact.

The required changed-file gate passed 1,508 tests in 75 executed files, affected-package typechecks and applicable static/patch checks. The current-source focused run passed 342 tests, which overlap that total. The disposable CLI/RPC setup proof exercises paused configuration and refusal with providers disabled, not a live factory lifecycle. See VALIDATION.json for exact scope.

Full 34-case lifecycle acceptance, final-source restart/no-duplicate/idle proof, web/mobile verification and legacy-loop retirement remain open. Exact-head changes-requested routing has fixture proof and partial live observation, not a completed rework/review/integration cycle. Recovery after a stranded planned stop does not establish clean planned-boundary acceptance. Rejecting an already-consumed review outcome still does not undo its effect, despite the tool description. Windows containment evidence is not a cross-platform or all-connection-mode guarantee.

This targets nightly 3669. It is separate from stable v0.1.2 messaging/tick releases and makes no nightly 3717 compatibility claim. Julius Marminge's current linked-environment work in original PR16684 is still open, not merged into main; its newer project create/clone and declaration-based forwarding are not silently imported. Optional PR17129/17130 are later layers. Support22445's zero-delta candidate closure is not a merge or approval. Existing original-solutions factory work is acknowledged in the brief, not adopted as a dependency.

Published by zainmitchell. The owner reports implementation by Claude Opus 5.5 through T3 Code. GPT-6.1 Sol through Codex in T3 Code performed source review, scrubbing, focused verification and release preparation. Public upstream/Julius/Claude attribution is retained. No new bot review or T3 endorsement is claimed.

MIT source with T3 Tools Inc.'s notice and required source notices retained. This is a distinct versioned, checksummed preview. Existing tags/assets are preserved. GitHub-enforced release immutability is disabled and is not claimed.

Native model-free tick: T3 v0.1.2 community source preview

Choose a tag to compare

Community source preview for T3 Code v0.1.2, exact base 044f07257c9684ae4543bd1e1ebf9c394e9e3830. Free, self-hosted open source under the included MIT notice. This is a temporary fork until T3 supplies the capability or a better replacement; no upstream endorsement or merge commitment is claimed.

The linked documentation has been expanded after publication. The release tag, raw patch and download assets retain their original published bytes. Download the preview ZIP for the patch, manifest, license, guides, examples and checksums, or use GitHub's automatic archive for the full patched source. Check assets against SHA256SUMS. No desktop installer or automatic app update is supplied.

The standalone six-file patch adds command-job dispatch to scheduled tasks. It needs no messaging PR, factory package, new dependency or migration. Windows evidence includes 46 focused tests, a later overlapping 178-test selection, and a disposable standalone backend exercise. The local build monitor produced notification counts 0, 1, 1 without requesting worker action. Trusted commands are not sandboxed by T3 action limits. On POSIX, a job may survive a hard server crash; reconciliation is not implemented.

Real provider actions, full client/device behavior, other operating systems, physical remote routes, desktop installation and production-state upgrades remain unverified for these stable previews. PRs and historical integrations retain their own revision-specific evidence.

Implementation/integration: Claude Opus 5.5 through T3 Code. Extraction, limited cleanup, source/evidence/documentation review, verification, examples and publication: GPT-6.1 Sol through Codex in T3 Code. Inherited upstream authors and additional historical model credits remain in the linked PR map. CodeRabbit review has not yet been established for this release.

Fork-local review

PR #2 now reviews b0676eb39911c79ca6da713d0c6b062972430818. The receipt-read and task-project follow-up preserves intent when receipt state is unreadable, returns MCP operation errors, and stops the original pass when a task moves projects. Seven regressions passed after reproducing the defects. The changed-file gate passed all 151 tests in eight executed files plus scoped static checks; the server build and docs-only gate passed. Changes, evidence and limits. Review of the new head is pending.

This Release stays frozen at preview.1. Its tag, ZIP, raw patch and checksums do not include the later fixes. Build the review branch to try the corrected source.

[Superseded] Native messaging: T3 v0.1.2 community source preview

Choose a tag to compare

Important

Superseded on 2026-10-28. Do not install this patch for new setups. Linked environments are now part of official T3 Code. Use nightly v0.1.4-nightly.20261028.3824 or any later nightly instead. The original feature PRs this preview bundled, #16653 mode limits, #16654 launch keys, #16655 links and #16684 forwarding, merged upstream on 2026-10-27, along with #16695 link confinement, #16698 Connections UI, #16719 remote delegation and #17130 machine mentions with the Labs beta.

In the official nightly, turn on Linked environments in Settings → Labs on both machines (on mobile, Settings → Labs lists each connected machine). Then, on the machine you will work from, open Settings → Connections → Linked environments and choose Link. The official remote access guide covers pairing codes, access levels and revoking a link; the peer-link notes describe how the beta gates both sides.

Do not apply this patch, or its branch, on top of an official nightly. Upgrading or migrating a T3 home that ran this preview to an official nightly has not been verified, and we have no tested migration path. This preview added its own peer-link migration to the v0.1.2 history.

The notes below are the original release notes. The tag, ZIP, raw patch and checksum file keep their original published bytes.

The 48-file patch bundles the selected mode-limit, launch-retry, peer-link and forwarding integration. All required supporting changes for its exact base are included; do not apply linked PRs on top. The full map distinguishes original/support PRs, closed replacements, and later layers outside this package. Windows focused checks and a fresh-home backend exercise passed; the later selected run passed 536 tests but failed three disclosed Windows fixture operations. Its aggregate test gate is not green.

Real provider actions, full client/device behavior, other operating systems, physical remote routes, desktop installation and production-state upgrades remain unverified for these stable previews. PRs and historical integrations retain their own revision-specific evidence.

Fork-local review (historical)

Status as written before 2026-10-28. This review branch is superseded by official nightly 3824 or later.

PR #1 now reviews 691c5e38b5f47f11cdf3a50a978764ef63ccc233. The Stop-boundary and idle-launch follow-up reaches recorded pre-Stop background work while preserving newer work, and validates the worktree base before an accepted idle thread receives its first message. All 59 focused Stop/handler tests and the 70-test changed-file gate passed, including scoped static checks. The server build and docs-only gate passed. Changes and limits. New-head review is pending.

This Release stays frozen at preview.1. Its tag, ZIP, raw patch and checksum file do not contain later branch fixes. Do not build or install that review branch for messaging; use official v0.1.4-nightly.20261028.3824 or any later nightly.
