HacknetAccess v0.1.0-alpha

First alpha release of the Hacknet screen reader accessibility mod.

What's included

  • HacknetAccess.dll — the mod plugin (copy to BepInEx\plugins\)
  • Tolk.dll — 32-bit screen reader bridge (copy to game directory)
  • nvdaControllerClient32.dll — 32-bit NVDA controller (copy to game directory)

Important: 32-bit DLLs

Hacknet is a 32-bit application. The included Tolk.dll and nvdaControllerClient32.dll are specifically 32-bit builds. Standard 64-bit versions of these libraries will NOT work. These 32-bit builds are rare and difficult to find, which is why they are bundled here.

Prerequisites

Features

  • Full keyboard navigation for all game interfaces
  • Screen reader announcements for terminal output, menus, daemons, notifications
  • F1-F7 quick access keys, Ctrl+Up/Down line nav, Ctrl+Left/Right word nav, Ctrl+C copy
  • Mail, notes, network map, settings — all keyboard-accessible
  • Generic exe module progress announcements (port crackers, tools)
  • Accessible tutorial with keyboard hints

Known issues

  • Notes app: typing leaks to terminal during focus mode (low priority)
  • Some daemons not yet tested (IRC, message board, CSEC hub — blocked by game progression)
  • Tutorial messages may still occasionally overlap
