What's new

Web server daemons

• F5 display focus now works on web server daemons (CFC, corporate sites)
• Extracts readable text from HTML pages instead of just announcing the URL
• F5 re-read supported

Shell trap workflow

• Auto-announces when traps finish loading RAM
• Tracks opponent location — alerts when opponent reaches a trapped machine
• Batched trigger announcements (lists all IPs instead of cutting off)
• Improved guidance messages throughout the trap lifecycle
• Ctrl+W: Close all shells (new shortcut)

Bug fixes

• Display focus no longer auto-exits on web server/IRC daemons
• CSEC credential picker no longer reuses stale credentials
• CSEC contract list now loads correctly
• Fixed infinite announcement loop when not connected to a remote host
• Credential picker now shows passwords
• Ctrl+Enter spell-out no longer leaks into mail reply
• Stale shells after reboot no longer appear in Ctrl+O/T
• Key detection no longer breaks if a handler throws an exception

• Ctrl+T: Set trap / trigger trap (improved: announces when loaded)
• Ctrl+W: Close all shells (new)
• F5: Web server content reading (improved)

Install

Extract the zip into your Hacknet game folder, or use the included Install-HacknetAccess.ps1 script.
Requires Hacknet-Pathfinder. Launch via HacknetPathfinder.exe.
