What's new

Database daemons — full keyboard support

  • Generic databases (CFC Records, Entropy Contract Database, etc.): Welcome → Browse → EntryDisplay flow now works without a mouse. Up/Down navigates the record list, Enter views, Escape goes back. Record contents are announced with XML markers stripped.
  • Medical database: full keyboard support for Search, Random Entry (R), Info (I), and the entire send-record flow including the email recipient prompt.
  • Academic database: fixed announcement timing — the "X matches found" intro is no longer cut off by the first match readout.

Input prompts in display focus

Typing into getString prompts (medical search box, email recipient address) now works correctly when display focus is active. Previously, the focus-mode input suppression also blocked these legitimate prompts.

Daemon-driven credential pickers (CSEC, mail server, etc.) are unchanged — they continue to use the automated forceLogin path.

Install

Extract the zip into your Hacknet game folder, or use the included Install-HacknetAccess.ps1 script.
Requires Hacknet-Pathfinder. Launch via `HacknetPathfinder.exe`.
