v0.3.8

[zorde23]

Download: ucndc_pc-v0.3.8-windows.zip. In the launcher, click Update now, or extract the zip over your old folder; saves and settings stay.

What's new

• UC2: the train prologue works at 60 FPS. Drake ran too slowly there, so the carriage fell before he reached the jump. The rooftop chase now also stays at 60 FPS.
• Aiming no longer blurs the whole background at resolutions other than 1080p (UC2 and UC3). The autofocus measured a point off the crosshair, often on Drake.
• New resolutions: 1280x720 and 1600x900.
• Objects no longer flicker or vanish for a moment the first time they appear (for example the UC1 submarine).
• Mouse: in UC2, looking far up or down while hanging no longer switches the camera to stick-like movement.
• Controls: new option to turn off controller vibration.
• Keyboard icons: the menus show W A S D, the left stick prompt shows your four movement keys, and the dodge/back key is Q by default.
• 5.1/7.1 sound is now automatic: on when Windows is set to surround, stereo mix otherwise (no longer Experimental).
• Dumps that come with the developer menu turned on no longer show the debug text on screen.
• Options > Advanced, Experimental: the faster draw preparation (A1) can now be turned on in UC1 too.

Known issues

• UC2: a few reports of Drake getting stuck inside objects (seen at the start of chapter 6). Being investigated.
• UC2: scenery textures can flicker in 4K (maybe 1440p).
• UC1: in the bunker, some pieces of broken crates can turn too bright. This is the game's own bug: it happens on PS4 too.
• Full list in the README.

v0.3.8 (português)

Download: ucndc_pc-v0.3.8-windows.zip.

Novidades

• UC2: o prólogo do trem funciona a 60 FPS.

Problemas conhecidos

• Lista completa no README.
