v2.0.0
Orbit 2 changes where size comes from: the .bigbang is the universe and its box sets the size, so layouts follow their container with no code. To keep a 1.x layout exactly as it was, set .gravity-spot { --o-force: 500px; }. See Coming from 1.x.
Features
The universe model: --o-force defaults to 100cqmin, every ring is a share of the box, satellites are universes too.
New documentation site at zumerlab.com/orbit, with live editable examples, demos and Orbit Kit.
range="auto" and text-anchor for arcs that fit their text; interactive and hit-width for touch.
--o-dir-x / --o-dir-y on satellites; depth layers; Orbit.ready() and the o-rendered event.
value and max are properties on and , so framework bindings redraw.
core-N as the new name of from-Nx (the old name still works).
[orbit] messages in the console explain broken layouts.
Fixes
Reset and themes have zero specificity; utility classes no longer use !important.
Nested systems start from the defaults; shrink-N does not leak into them.
angle-N on .side points like on satellites; only real angle-N classes reset --o-from.
--o-color on a ring or satellite gives it its own shades.
Arcs and progress hide on elliptical rings, as documented.
