SSH 密码认证现已支持。

• OpenSSH 需要密码、私钥口令或交互式认证响应时，弹出 VS Code 隐藏输入框；支持 ProxyJump 逐级认证。
• 凭据仅用于当前认证，不写入配置或日志；取消输入会停止本次连接。
• 等待输入时暂停启动超时，修复跳板机密码框后方的 OpenSSH banner 超时。
• 修复认证重试成功后，旧认证错误误报为后续断线原因的问题。

验证：46 项自动测试、18 个真实 OpenSSH 集成场景通过。Computer Use 验证了真实 VS Code 密码直连、错误重试、取消、双跳三次认证和长时间等待，以及 HTTP 反向转发。密码和多跳测试使用隔离测试账号；已有远程 Linux 主机通过现有密钥完成转发回归。

安装：下载 reverse-ports-1.0.2.vsix，在 VS Code 中执行“扩展：从 VSIX 安装”，完成后重载窗口。首次连接前仍需核验主机指纹。

SSH password authentication is now supported.

• Masked VS Code prompts for passwords, private key passphrases and interactive authentication, including each ProxyJump hop.
• Credentials are used for the current authentication only and are never saved to configuration or logs. Canceling stops the connection.
• Startup timeouts pause during input; jump-host password dialogs no longer expire behind OpenSSH's banner timeout.
• Successful authentication retries clear stale errors so subsequent disconnects show the correct cause.

Validation: 46 automated tests and 18 real OpenSSH integration scenarios passed, plus Computer Use verification in real VS Code and an existing remote Linux forwarding regression. Password and multi-hop tests use isolated test accounts.

Install the attached VSIX locally and reload VS Code. Verify host fingerprints before the first connection.

Match the empty-state Forward a Port button to the native VS Code Ports view: 12px normal-weight text, 16px line height, 4px corners, theme border and native welcome-view spacing.

Verified browser metrics: 300×26px. All 40 automated tests passed.
