Dreaminator 0.11.2
Dreaminator 0.11.2
This release brings the current TV catalog, catch-up and receiver integrations to GitHub Releases. It replaces 0.6.0 as the recommended download.
Choose your package
| Receiver / image | Download | CPU |
|---|---|---|
| Dreambox DM520 / OpenHDF 6.4 build 137 | dreaminator_0.11.2_all.ipk |
MIPS little-endian, soft-float |
| Vu+ Uno 4K SE / openATV 7.5 | dreaminator_0.11.2_vuuno4kse.ipk |
32-bit ARMv7 |
Both configurations have been tested by the maintainer; the release pipeline also checks both binaries through QEMU. The _all.ipk is the legacy DM520 package name, not a universal binary. Do not install it on the Vu+ Uno 4K SE. Other receivers and images remain unverified.
Since 0.6.0
- Native TV catalog with live channels, movies/series from Stalker portals, search, favorites, recents and optional TMDB metadata.
- Daily programme guide and M3U catch-up; archive entry from the receiver's channel-list menu and optional EPG-key integration.
- EPGImport-compatible IPTV references for OpenHDF/openATV and fixes for protected-channel authorization and returning from archive playback.
- Separate DM520/MIPS and Vu+ Uno 4K SE/ARMv7 packages, with shared HD and Full HD artwork.
- Modular Stream logo across the README, web/home-screen icons and Enigma2 screens.
- English documentation, MIT license, dependency notices and automated test/build/release workflows.
- Go 1.26.10 minimum for the crypto/x509 fix GO-2026-6809, while retaining the earlier DM520 startup fix. Complete dependency checksums also cover Linux/AMD64 builds.
Install or upgrade
- Back up
/etc/dreaminator/and/etc/enigma2/if upgrading. - Download the matching IPK and
SHA256SUMS. Verify its SHA-256 checksum. - Install from a FAT32 USB drive using Menu → Setup → Software management → Install local extension, or copy the IPK to
/tmpand runopkg install /tmp/<matching-package>.ipkover SSH. - Restart the Enigma2 GUI. Open Plugins → Dreaminator, then visit
http://<receiver-address>:8088from your tablet or computer.
See the installation guide for separate Dreambox and Vu+ steps, EPGImport setup and optional archive hotkeys. The attached PDF is the Windows/USB walkthrough. Installing over a previous version retains playlists and lists.
Scope and limitations
Application labels currently use Russian. The web interface has no login and is intended for a trusted home network; keep port 8088 private. M3U catch-up depends on provider recording availability. Xtream-account and Stalker archive support remain planned. Codec, audio, seeking and physical-remote behavior depend on receiver firmware/player and provider; simulator success does not certify every combination.
Release checks cover Go vet/tests, Node regressions, Python 2.7/3 harness and simulator integration, deterministic artwork, IPK contents/CPU/version and QEMU startup of both binaries. The current source and dependency scan found no reachable vulnerabilities after the compiler update. See development for reproduction commands.

Dreaminator 0.6.0
Channel logos on TV: Dreaminator turns playlist artwork into Enigma2 picons for the channel list and infobar.
Historical release. This package predates the DM520 startup fixes and current TV catalog. For the tested receiver configuration, follow the current installation guide. The attached English Windows guide describes current setup guidance; it does not change this historical binary.
New
- Picons for selected channels: M3U
tvg-logo, Xtream and Stalker artwork fitted into standard 220×132 picons. PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP supported. - Dark logos receive a light backing for visibility on dark skins; colored logos keep transparency.
- Automatic directory selection: use the directory Enigma2 already searches, otherwise
/usr/share/enigma2/picon. A manifest ensures only Dreaminator's own files are changed or removed. - Logos refresh after Send to TV and overnight; unchanged artwork is not downloaded again.
- Settings show logo counts, missing-logo reasons, refresh, enable/disable and the selected directory.
Installation and upgrade
The original package is dreaminator_0.6.0_all.ipk. Installing over an earlier version retains playlists and lists. Accept the GUI restart. Logos appear after the first Send to TV. See the attached English Windows guide and the version warning above.
Verification at release time
- Tests: picon names, fitting/backing, directory selection, manifest synchronization, repeated downloads, removal, preservation of unrelated picons and disabling.
- Virtual Dreambox using the same package: real M3U artwork and demo Stalker logos, picons for 9 of 11 channels (two had no logo); simulated TV finds them using Enigma2 rules. Preview attached.
- The package had not yet run on the real DM520 at release time. Hardware follow-up is recorded in the roadmap.

Subscription status and stream checks from your tablet.
Historical release. This package predates the DM520 startup fixes and current TV catalog. Follow the current installation guide when choosing a package. The attached English Windows guide describes current setup guidance, not a rebuilt historical binary.
New
- Subscription status on playlist cards: Xtream active/expiry/connection limit/trial details; Stalker status, expiry and plan; M3U URL availability through Check.
- Status refreshes with each playlist update. Within seven days of expiry, warnings appear on the tablet and in the TV plugin, which also shows the subscription end date.
- Channel check: the receiver opens the stream and reports response time, container, video/audio codecs and download speed without ffmpeg. This version introduced codec/container cautions for HEVC, fMP4 and DASH; actual support depends on the receiver and image.
A probe temporarily uses one provider connection. It may interrupt IPTV on a single-connection subscription, so it runs only when requested, one channel at a time.
Installation and upgrade
The original package is dreaminator_0.5.0_all.ipk. Installing over an earlier version retains playlists and lists. Accept the GUI restart; see the attached English Windows guide and the version warning above.
Verification at release time
- Synthetic TS/HLS streams, redirects, HEVC, HTTP 403, DASH and connection failure; Xtream/Stalker date formats and expiry warnings.
- Same package in the virtual Dreambox: Stalker live channel over HLS/MPEG-TS, H.264/AAC, demo subscription status and Python 3/2.7 plugin.
- Not yet run on the real DM520 at release time; follow-up in the roadmap.

Dreaminator 0.4.0
Dreaminator 0.4.0
Live TV from Stalker/Ministra (MAG) portals: enter the portal address and MAC to add channels alongside your existing bouquets.
Historical release. This package predates the DM520 startup fixes and current TV catalog. Follow the current installation guide when choosing a package. The attached English Windows guide describes current setup guidance, not a rebuilt historical binary.
New
- Stalker under Playlists → Add: provider portal address (usually ending
/c/) and MAC. Advanced fields accept provider-issued login/password, SN and Device ID. Device IDs are not generated automatically because portals may bind the first identity they see. - Provider genres, including hidden adult genres; stars, lists, Send to TV and immediate tuning work like other playlist types.
- Portal EPG when no custom EPG URL is supplied.
- Temporary Stalker links use the local Dreaminator resolver in TV bouquets. Each tune gets a fresh portal URL and redirects the player. Portal sessions are retained and authorization failures trigger reauthentication.
Earlier features remain: M3U URLs/files, Xtream live TV, EPGImport, the status/QR TV plugin and overnight updates.
Installation and upgrade
The original package is dreaminator_0.4.0_all.ipk. USB installation, opkg install and source deployment are supported. Installing over an earlier version retains playlists and lists. Accept the GUI restart; see the attached English Windows guide and the version warning above.
Verification at release time
- Fake-portal client tests: API discovery, expired token, login, blocked MAC, pagination, hidden genres and link formats.
- Same package under MIPS32 emulation: adding a Stalker source, strict bouquet validation, resolver playback and portal EPG reaching the simulated TV.
- Not yet checked against a real portal at release time. Redirect, User-Agent and stream cookie requirements remained to test. Sharing a MAC with another box may cause the portal to replace its session. See the roadmap.
