v1.2.2
🔥 Release preview
The variable name is now always shown in the prompt, even when a comment block is present above the variable. Before, only the comment was rendered, so it wasn't clear which variable you were answering for.
Template:
# Traefik entrypoint
USE_TLS=<*false|true>Before:
◆ Traefik entrypoint
└ ▶
After:
◆ USE_TLS
│ Traefik entrypoint
└ ▶
The same applies to the secret-generated log line, which now reads DB_PASSWORD (Database password): Generated 32-char secret.
🤔 Changes
- Always render the variable name in interactive prompts and in the secret-generated info log
v1.2.1
🔥 Release preview
Fix dollar sign ($) escaping in .env values to prevent shell variable interpolation issues.
Before: Passwords like abc$def were written unescaped, causing $def to be interpreted as a variable reference when sourced.
After: Values containing $ are now properly quoted and escaped:
# Input password: $Q7Kyp(vtU$eDRG#YSPizqW)BB3DePyi
# Output:
PASSWORD="\$Q7Kyp(vtU\$eDRG#YSPizqW)BB3DePyi"🐞 Bug fixes
