OST 0.3.1 shows the installed app version in Settings and fixes a microphone startup crash.
Settings > General now shows the app version and build number, such as 0.3.1 (7). The label follows the selected interface language.
Microphone capture now reads the hardware input format before it creates an audio tap. If no microphone is connected, OST reports that no microphone is available instead of terminating.
Local validation passed 80 Swift tests and 19 Xcode app tests. These tests include the actual missing-input-device path, microphone subtitle colors, simultaneous previews, and interface translations.
The release package passes archive, signature, permission, and app startup checks. The Settings version display is checked in the packaged app.
Live speech recognition and microphone caption separation still require a connected microphone. No physical microphone was available for this release.
This release requires macOS 26 or later and Apple Silicon. The app uses an ad-hoc signature without Apple notarization. A SHA-256 checksum file accompanies the ZIP.
