1. Prerequisites:

   • Ensure you have Python installed.

2. Run the Script:

   • Open a terminal or command prompt.
   • Navigate to the script's directory.
   • Execute the script with: python engine.py.

3. Basic Configuration:

   • Input engine name.
   • Enter the number of banks.
   • For each bank:
   • enter the number of cylinders.
   • Specify the cylinder order (starting from 0) for each bank.
   • Specify bank angle (positive goes anti-clockwise).
   • Choose whether to flip each bank.

4. Firing Order (Optional)r:

   • If you skip the order will be 1,2,3,4 and so on.
   • Other wise input the firing order for each cylinder (starting from 1).

5. Advanced Settings/Modify Engine (Optional):

   • Choose if you want to configure advanced settings (you can skip spesific setting just by pressing enter, this will use the default value).
   • Adjust values such as starter torque, redline, etc.
   • Explanation below.

6. Engine Generation

   • The generated engine configuration file will be saved in the engines folder as a .mr file.

Advanced Settings Explanation

• Starter Torque: Torque generated by the starter motor (default: 70).

• Starter Speed: Starter motor speed (default: 500).

• Redline: Maximum engine speed (default: 8000).

• Rev Limit: Engine rev limit (default: redline + 1000).

• Limiter Duration: Duration of the rev limiter (default: 0.1).

• Stroke: Piston stroke length (default: 86).

• Bore: Cylinder bore diameter (default: 86).

• Rod Length: Connecting rod length (default: 120).

• Rod Mass: Connecting rod mass (default: 50).

• Compression Height: Piston compression height (default: 25.4).

• Crank Mass: Crankshaft mass (default: 10).

• Flywheel Mass: Flywheel mass (default: 10).

• Flywheel Radius: Flywheel radius (default: 100).

• Piston Mass: Piston mass (default: 50).

• Lobe Separation: Camshaft lobe separation angle (default: 114).

• Camshaft Base Radius: Camshaft base circle radius (default: 0.5).

• Lobe Center: Intake and exhaust lobe center angles (default: 90).

• Lobe Lift: Lobe lift (default: 551).

• Lobe Duration: Lobe duration (default: 235).

• Lobe Steps: Number of lobe steps (default: 512).

• Exhaust Length: Exhaust runner length (default: 20).

• Idle Throttle Plate Position: Idle throttle plate position (default: 0.999).

• start the 'engine.py' (es-generator/es-gen/engine.py).

• Engine Name: Enter the name of your engine.

• Number of Banks: Enter the number of banks you want your engine to have (inline: 1, v/vr/flat: 2, w: 3-4).

  • Number of Cylinders: The number fo cylinder in the bank.
  • Cylinder 0: The order of cylinder on the crankshaft.
  • Bank Angle: the angle of your banks (Anti-clockwise). '' (You may need to do this multiple times depending on the amount of cylinders). '' (Repeat, depending on amount of banks (the oder of cylinder is continued from every bank)).

• Done! (Engine configuration 'YOUR-ENGINE' generated and saved to (es-generator/es-gen/engines/YOUR-ENGINE_engine.py)).
