Add a device

  • Each device's plugin, and Change: recognized devices show the plugin that handles them, with a Change link to pick another one, a generic one, or go back to Automatic.
  • Unlisted models of a known maker: a model no plugin lists, of a maker a plugin knows, is offered that maker's plugin first ("Try the PXN plugin") instead of a list of every plugin (#2).
  • Other plugin: any device no plugin handles can be given to a plugin by hand, from the same menu.
  • Refusals: when a plugin does not take a device, the reason shows under its row, and the device goes back to the plugin that handles it by itself.
