StarPlayrX pulled down from the menu bar

🎬 Window shade

🖼️ Album art stays put

  • Album art no longer flips back to the channel logo while the same song is playing. When a later update comes back with the same artist and song but no art, the art already showing is kept
  • Art is replaced only when there's new art for that song, or when the song changes. The channel logo shows only when a new song has no art at all
  • Covers live and Xtra channels, in the channel rows and the Now Playing header
  • No flash while new art loads: rows and Now Playing keep the previous art until the new one is ready, and album art keeps its album look the whole time

🎧 Smoother background playback

  • Improved playback while StarPlayrX is in the background
  • Reduced stuttering

💻 Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later (equalizer: macOS 14.2 or later)
  • Universal: Apple silicon and Intel
  • An active SiriusXM subscription

🔏 Security

  • Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple (ticket stapled)

📦 Install

  1. Download StarPlayrX-Mac-1.1.5.dmg (or the .zip)
  2. Move StarPlayrX.app to Applications and open it
  3. Click the 📻 icon in the menu bar
