Published to npm: the plugin now installs by package name.

• npm distribution. dsh-stock-quotes is on the public registry, so a DSH
  session installs it by name —
  plugin_manager action: install_bundle target: dsh-stock-quotes — instead of
  requiring a clone and an absolute directory path.

• The name-search index is fetched from jsDelivr's npm mirror first, so a panel
  installed from the registry no longer depends on the GitHub release tag
  existing; the tag URL and raw main stay as ordered fallbacks.
• npm publish runs the test suite first (prepublishOnly), so a failing
  release cannot reach the registry.
• The README install sections lead with the npm path; the clone-and-install
  path is documented as the development workflow.

Fixed

• The trend (??) column was empty. 2.0.0 referenced a request-concurrency constant that was never defined, so the intraday refresh threw on every tick and the sparklines never received data; the focus chart kept working because it loads its own series.
• mapLimit now falls back to a safe width instead of running zero workers when handed a bad limit.
• A failed intraday refresh is logged instead of failing silently.
• Lint findings: an unused constant, two needless regex escapes, a missing browser global.

• ESLint is a gating CI step (npm ci && npm run lint) with committed devDependencies and lockfile. no-undef catches exactly this class of bug, which a syntax check cannot.

First release prepared as a product rather than a personal tool.

Correctness

• The intraday axis derives the session open from the data, so the US session is no longer an hour off under winter time (DST).
• Intraday requests are capped at four in flight instead of one burst per refresh.
• Refresh backs off exponentially after consecutive failures and resets on success.
• A failed tick keeps the last good quotes on screen and reports the error in a strip.
• The search index URL is pinned to this release tag, guarded by a test.

Product surface

• Settings: refresh interval, red/green convention, visible columns, move-alert threshold, watchlist import/export.
• Sortable columns (descending ? ascending ? off); drag-reorder is read-only while sorted.
• Keyboard access: focusable rows, Enter/Space opens the chart, Esc closes it.
• Alert banner when a symbol moves more than the configured threshold.
