v2.0.0 — iOS Native Redesign

⚠️ Rebuilt on 2026-09-17: The v2.0.0 tag and its assets were replaced twice after the initial publish, both times for the same underlying Home/Search subscription card layout bug (title/price overlapping or overflowing uncropped in a real native build; it never reproduced in Expo Go). The first replacement (eae0d08) moved layout-critical styles from NativeWind className to the style prop, which was necessary but not sufficient. The actual root cause was the long-press action menu's native host view (@expo/ui's MenuView/Host), which measures its React Native children with matchContents — an unconstrained intrinsic-size pass under which flex: 1/percentage children collapse to their minimum content size instead of stretching. 2fb470f fixes this by measuring the card's available width outside the menu host and feeding it back in explicitly. The assets below are the corrected build; no other functional changes were made.

This is a major release: the entire iOS experience has been rebuilt from the ground up with dedicated native-feeling screens, replacing the shared cross-platform UI on iOS. Android continues to use the existing design until its own redesign pass.

Highlights

• Every major screen now has a dedicated iOS design — Settings and all its child screens (About, Acknowledgements, Billing, Gmail, Language, Password, Payment Method, Privacy, Profile, Support, Time Zone, Terms), Login/Register, Home, Calendar, Detail, Edit, Add, and a new native Search tab.
• New native Search tab, sharing its filtering logic with Home and showing empty-state guidance.
• New Payment Methods flow — preset brands (PayPal, Apple Pay, App Store, Google Pay, Google Play, Paidy, Amazon Pay) plus custom cards and icons, presented through a native large sheet with Settings-style brand rows.
• New native icon picker — pick from Photo Library or Files, with square cropping and transparency preserved.
• Full-black, system-style dark surfaces across Settings, auth, Home, Calendar, and Detail, matching native iOS apps like Reminders and Settings.
• New Acknowledgements screen under About, listing open-source licenses.
• New "Show Inactive" toggle and a native pull-down sort menu on Home.
• A translucent, native-feeling bottom tab bar.

Improvements

• Added missing translations (login screen title, password-change alerts) and accessible labels for the tab bar so VoiceOver/TalkBack announce each tab correctly.
• Numerous layout and density refinements to match native iOS conventions across Settings' child screens.
• SF Symbols used throughout Settings and the add/edit sheets.
• Release tooling now rejects malformed prerelease tags (-beta, -beta0) with stricter version validation.

Bug fixes

• Payment method submission is now guarded against double taps and no longer discards the form on a failed request — the user can correct and retry.
• Selecting an unknown/removed preset brand no longer leaves a blank screen.
• Fixed the Sign Up header disappearing on iOS, the add-payment-method screen re-pushing itself, and the next-payment-date sort order on Home and Search.
• Several dependency security patches (nanoid, js-yaml, xmldom, decode-uri-component, brace-expansion).

Dependency and CI updates

• Routine dependency bumps via Dependabot.
• CI fixes: aligned Jest preset with React Native, removed a deprecated Android SDK package request, pinned Jest to a working version.
