PocketHost 1.2.15 - Chromebooks, sleep mode & tutorials
PocketHost 1.2.15
Which file do I download?
- Phone or tablet:
PocketHost.apk - Chromebook, BlueStacks, Google Play Games on PC or another PC emulator:
PocketHost-x86_64.apk
New
- Chromebooks and PC emulators are supported. The new x86 version runs the server natively on Intel and AMD devices (Java 17, 21 and 25 all included).
- Sleep mode: the server sleeps when nobody plays, to save RAM, battery and heat, and wakes up by itself when someone joins. Stop and Wake buttons while it sleeps.
- Pre-generate on Fabric and modpacks, with your own radius (slider or a box in blocks or chunks).
- Get help button: describe the problem, your logs are sent automatically, and you get a ticket number to drop in our Discord.
- Tutorial videos inside the app: setup, OP / ban / whitelist / plugins, and moving a world from Aternos.
- Install any plugin or mod. If it replaces one you already have, the app tells you and lets you undo it.
Fixed
- Fabric 1.21.11 worlds loading as 1.21.1 (mods refusing to load, stuck at 9%)
- "Exit code 126" hiding the real reason a server could not start
- The app freezing ("isn't responding") while a big modpack starts, and while dragging the RAM slider
- RAM card showing the whole phone's memory instead of the server's
- A sleeping or stopped server showing as ONLINE
- Uploaded mods named with numbers like "25572"
- Smaller download: the phone version no longer carries the x86 files

PocketHost 1.2.12 - All Bugs Fixed!
PocketHost 1.2.12 — All Your Bugs Have Been Fixed!
All major bugs reported for modpacks, startup crashes, and the external release build have been resolved:
🚀 What's New & Fixed
• Modpack Support & Java 25 Runtime (Class 69.0 Fix):
- Modern Fabric modpacks (e.g. Cobbleverse, 1.20.5+, 1.21+, 26.x) compiled with Java 25 bytecode (class file version 69.0) now boot smoothly using our dedicated Java 25 in-process JVM runtime.
- Resolved
UnsupportedClassVersionErrorand JVM initialization errors.
• Crash Loop Auto-Recovery Protection:
- Servers that encounter startup configuration or compatibility errors now cleanly halt with exit code 0 rather than getting stuck in endless restart loops.
• + Import Button for Custom Mods & Packs:
- Added a dedicated
+ Importbutton on the Plugins & Mods screen (even with filter set to None) allowing direct one-tap importing of.jarmods and.mrpackfiles via the Android system file picker.
• Clean External Build Experience:
- Completely ad-free experience on the external APK with all Google Play billing sheets removed.
- Permanent "Support Us on Patreon" bottom sheet accessible from the top-bar heart button.

PocketHost 1.2.13 - Your Discord Bugs Fixed
PocketHost 1.2.13 — Fixes from your Discord reports
🛠️ Fixed
• Plugins wiped after making a new server — creating a server and going back to your old one no longer deletes the old server's plugins, mods or resource packs, and no longer shows it as "world" with no logo or a fresh world. If this happened to you, starting your old server again points it back at its real save.
• Fabric 1.21.11 loaded as 1.21.1 — Fabric now downloads and runs the version you picked, with the matching Fabric API.
• Stuck at 9% with mods — when a mod doesn't match your Minecraft version (or is a client-only mod), the start stops right away and tells you which mods to fix, instead of hanging.
• New server used the old server's version — a new server now keeps the server type and version you chose.
• "Could not find server launch files" shown for every crash — the popup now shows the real reason.
• Paper 26.1 "jar not found" — the version list only shows Paper builds that exist (26.1.1, 26.1.2).
• File editor — the last lines are no longer hidden under the bottom bar.
• Files tab — upload several files at once, files keep their real names (no more "25572"), and lists refresh right after a delete.
• World type setting corrupted in some server.properties files — repaired automatically.
• Crash fixes: big photos, duplicate whitelist names, world folder copy errors.
• PCs and emulators (Play Games on PC, BlueStacks, Windows Android) now get a clear "not supported" message instead of failing again and again.

Fixes
- Storage & Config File Management: Fixed file uploading and deletion in the Storage > Files manager. Uploaded files (including
server.properties, config YAML/JSON files, and plugins) now retain their proper filenames and paths. Uploading, editing, and deleting config files immediately refreshes the file list with instant UI feedback and reloads server settings. - Server Online Status: Fixed an issue where running servers were falsely shown as "OFFLINE" after backgrounding the app or when running without a cloud relay. The console and server cards now correctly reflect the server's live active status.
- Top Bar Heart Button: Support Heart icon is now permanently visible in the top navigation bar.
- UI & Stability Enhancements: Smoothed purchase and upgrade presentation dialogs and resolved rating intents.

New server address
Your internet join address now ends in pockethost.online. The old addresses were having connection problems, so we moved to new ones. The app shows you the new address once, the first time your server comes online after updating. Share it with your friends.
Fixes
- Bedrock players: older Bedrock versions no longer get kicked with "disconnected from server" right after joining. The server ping and player count show up again in the Bedrock server list.
- Game mode: changing a player's game mode works for everyone online, and the player page shows their real game mode instead of jumping back to the default.
- World pre-generation: the world builder and its chip show the true number of chunks in your world, including Minecraft 26.x worlds.
Faster
- The app uses far less CPU and battery while your server runs, which leaves more power for the server (better TPS and ping).

PocketHost v1.2.9 - World Pre-generation & Game Rules
What's New in v1.2.9
• Pre-generate your world: build the chunks around spawn ahead of time with Chunky, so players explore without lag.
- Pick Small, Medium or Large, and optionally stop after 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour.
- A live timer shows time left, chunks built and speed. Pause, resume or stop any time; a small chip in the corner shows progress.
- A bigger size carries on from what you already built.
• Game rules in Settings: Keep Inventory, One Player Sleep, Creeper & Mob Damage, Phantoms, Fire Spread, Day & Night Cycle and Weather Changes, as simple switches. Works on Minecraft 1.21.11 and newer too.
• Custom IP: a clear "already in use" message with a way to request deletion of a name that was yours. Signing out keeps your IP for one day. New servers start on the standard address; set a custom IP any time from the pencil.
• Smoother app: Settings opens with an animation, the chat bubble snaps to the side and stays on screen, Pre-generate and How to Join sit side by side, and the open-server warning buttons no longer wrap.
• Fixes: Sign in from the support page now opens your Account; the region list says South Asia; the tutorial now points out Pre-generate.
This version has no ads.
Open-source notice: This release bundles GeyserReversion (GPL-3.0), which includes the Ouranos translation engine (AGPL-3.0), and Chunky (GPL-3.0). The complete corresponding source for both bundled builds is attached below.
PocketHost v1.2.8 - Guided First Server
What's New in v1.2.8

- If you press Create before the server file is downloaded, it carries on by itself once the download is done.
- The support note and social prompts no longer pop up on top of the first setup.
Everything from v1.2.6 and v1.2.7 is included: server details that stay saved, coloured MOTD with & codes, mods and plugins that keep your on/off choices, a working internet address when a custom one is misdirected, and the first-start fix.
This version has no ads.

• Home card:
- A description with colour codes (for example
&aGreen &lBold) now shows as plain text on the home card. The MOTD players see in Minecraft is still coloured.

PocketHost v1.2.5 - Minecraft 26.x World Safety, Player Data Import & Widget Fixes
What's New in v1.2.5
• Minecraft 26.x worlds are safe across restarts:
- Fixed the app treating a valid 26.x
level.datas corrupt and moving it aside on every start. - Fixed player inventories, stats and advancements being removed on every start of a 26.x world.
- Fixed the Nether and the End being copied into extra folders on every start, which doubled their size.
- World imports now bring the
dimensions/andplayers/folders of a 26.x world.
• Player data import:
- Imported inventories are now matched to players on 26.x worlds.
- New Import player data button in Players > All Players and in Files. Pick a world or server backup ZIP to bring every player's data, or a single
.datfile for one player.

- Starting, stopping or restarting from the widget is reflected in the app.
• Stability (from crash reports):
- Fixed freezes while the console is busy and when opening screens on large worlds.
- Fixed crashes when a plugin download has no connection, when
server.propertieshas a malformed character, and on devices with no app to open a link. - Updated Compose to address two layout crashes.
• Other fixes:
- Make OP now updates straight away, and the home player card shows OP status with a Remove OP action.
- The server can start without an internet connection (LAN only), once its files have been downloaded.
- Switching a 26.x world from Paper to Fabric keeps its seed.
- Onboarding now ends with a short welcome page; the first server is set up on the home screen.
- A small support reminder appears every fourth launch.
Known issue: Bedrock crossplay does not work on Minecraft 26.3 yet, because Geyser has not released support for it. Use 26.2 or 1.21.x for Bedrock players.
