Board notes. A new tab with a book icon in the board sidebar shows
what the board file knows beyond its geometry. Today that is XZZ's
"Common problems" boards: the repair table drawn on the board
(symptom, fault point, fix) and the net glossary — what each net does,
filterable, with the highlighted net's description at the top. Part and
net names in it are clickable. The tab appears only on boards that carry
notes, and it is plain text, so the browser's Translate page can
translate the Chinese.
XZZ test points. Test points stored outside any part are now drawn,
selectable and part of their net — on the iPad Air 3 boards a net that
showed only a BGA ball now shows its probe point too. Records that only
repeat an existing pin are left out.
Library search. While you search the Folders view, a list of the
files found sits above the tree; a click opens the branch, selects the
file and scrolls to it. A folder with a hit also shows its other files
(the schematic next to a board, say), dimmed, behind a toggle when there
are more than five.
Changed
The file pane under the Library is tidier: open and download are
icon buttons beside the name, one line says what the file is, and the
rest (facts, path, Edit metadata, Mark as donor) is behind Details. OpenBoardData takes two lines. The pane scrolls under a fixed
header and takes at most 45 % of the Library.
Space to flip: holding it past half a second (was 0.35 s) peeks.
Fixed
XZZ diode readings: BGA balls get their readings (iPhone 14 U1000:
none before, over a thousand now), files carrying both reading formats
keep both, and renamed parts keep theirs. Across the local test library
the number of readings roughly doubled.
XZZ Chinese text: part values, names and labels written in GB2312
read correctly instead of being dropped; Ω values show.
"Translate page" crashed BoardRipper — a panel when picking a pin,
the whole window when switching board tabs. Fixed throughout, with a
recovery page for any crash outside the panels.
Rotating a board froze it for a second or two on dense boards: a
90° turn rebuilt the whole scene. It now only moves the labels that
depend on the turn.
A quick Space tap peeked back the first time after a board opened,
because the flip's own work made the press look long.
A partial answer from the server could blank the window (home page
statistics) or fail the library load (donor list).
