@AlwaysRead AlwaysRead released this 20 Oct 12:38

FutBar 2.7.0 completes the requested structure, reliability, accessibility and player-history updates, alongside the new everyday controls.

  • Separate profile, fixture, competition, detail and navigation models; move popup layout into its own view.
  • Shared request lifecycle/status controls with selection cancellation, retry delays, update timestamps and cached refreshes across older views.
  • One faint footer pinned to the floating window bottom for refresh, cached-data and update-time feedback; it disappears after five seconds. Errors and cached-data notices remain visible.
  • Stable image placeholders, section loading status, keyboard access, accessible labels and narrow/large-font layout checks. Standings scroll horizontally when needed.
  • Season and ESPN competition controls inside the existing player Matches tab, with refresh/retry and an explicitly estimated form trend. Remove the superseded overview parser.
  • Universal football news with thumbnails, an in-panel photo/summary reader and safe links to ESPN. Search stays first in the header; Refresh sits beside News.
  • Optional kickoff reminders, fixture-change and lineup-available alerts; quiet hours, snooze, club muting and notification scope.
  • Pinned profile comparisons, validated settings backup/restore, redacted diagnostics, scroll restoration and reduced motion.
  • Cross-process request limits and response coalescing; bounded image/network helpers and stale-output guards. My Matches and match-card videos remain removed.

Validation: 42 Python/runtime tests pass with no skips in the isolated Qt 6/Quickshell integration environment, plus JavaScript security/data checks, Python compilation and Omarchy plugin validation. GitHub CI also runs the full suite under a headless Wayland compositor with test networking disabled.

QML Profiler baselines include a 200-match/large-font stress capture. No new lazy loading was added; measurements and reproduction steps are in docs/performance.md.

ESPN coverage varies by player, season and competition. News provides a photo and summary; full stories open on ESPN. Marketplace verification is requested separately for the exact published commit and remains subject to marketplace approval.
