Voice cloning
Wiki ▸ Voice cloning
Voice cloning is a specific application of employing an audio deepfake to create sound that is difficult to distinguish from a (usually human) speech sample. In cybersecurity, voice cloning is most often used in social engineering attacks to impersonate a known entity such as a company's CEO or a target's friend or family member in order to establish a sense of trust and safety in the attacker's victim. This page lists voice cloning tools and services that can be used for this goal.
