Four new guides follow real infrastructure work with emisar: Cassandra backup savings, Nomad resource sizing, an application migration, and a website cache repair. Each guide names the actions used to inspect the system and check the result.

Diagnostics

  • Nomad pack 0.4.17 adds nomad.alloc_exec_node_dns and nomad.alloc_exec_node_https to test DNS and HTTPS from inside a selected task. The probes run fixed Node.js checks with bounded output and normal TLS verification.

Security and dependencies

  • Phoenix.HTML 4.4.0 validates HTML attribute names, fixing CVE-2026-117645.
  • Elixir 1.20.5 includes fixes for URI port parsing, JSON integer limits, and shared Mix dependency directories. The matching builder and Debian base move together.
  • Runner source now checks relative file paths from the action’s working directory, matching how execution resolves them. Regression tests cover protected reads, writes, and symlink traversal.
  • Updated eligible Go and Hex packages, container pins, GitHub Actions, build tools, and the Google Terraform provider. Browser tooling uses the current chromedp API, with regression coverage for iframe navigation, startup timeouts, and process cleanup.

Guides and documentation

Public docs, integration guides, and pack descriptions use simpler language and explain the work emisar supports.

This is the product release. Published component versions remain Runner 0.31.1 and MCP Bridge 0.17.1.
