mpeek v1.1.0 — release candidate
TCP/MPTCP exposure discovery for system administrators, licensed under MIT.
Included:
- Bounded, explicitly scoped TCP/MPTCP negotiation probes.
- CSV/JSON evidence, optional verified patch-inventory joins, and ordered triage.
- Linux MPTCP controls and canaries; native macOS TCP reachability mode.
- Interruption recovery, coverage reporting, release manifests, and checksums.
MPTCP support is a discovery signal, not proof of a vulnerable kernel. Negative
results do not clear hosts. Kernel/vendor evidence is still required.
Validation:
- 37 local tests passed, including real loopback TCP/MPTCP and cancellation tests.
- Release archive integrity, manifest hashes, and extracted CLI verified.
- CI passed on Ubuntu (Python 3.9 and 3.12) and macOS (Python 3.12).
Linux MPTCP controls passed; Linux-only MPTCP tests are intentionally skipped on macOS.
