v1.1.0
🐛 Fixes
Interface
fix(ui): inhibit screen idle during visible live playback (7cdbb9e8).
- Keep the screen awake while a video plays Live in a visible, non-minimized window, without requiring focus or fullscreen. Pause, stop, close or minimize releases the request. As with other video players, this also postpones automatic screen locking and sleep while it is held; manual locking and sleep stay available.
- Use the desktop's standard
org.freedesktop.ScreenSaverinhibition interface with a stabledev.antho.furami/Playing videoidentity. KDE exposes it directly and hypridle on Hyprland exposes the same contract; if the desktop service is absent or refuses, playback continues unchanged.

v1.0.0
🔄 Changes
Release
- chore(release): bump version to 1.0.0
Interface
- Show only the input format on the Resolved input statistics line, adding
(auto)when that format was chosen automatically. Formats you select explicitly appear alone. - Show the full application version at the top-right of the Options menu and its settings pages, without narrowing the playback summary below the title.
- Group the Preferences page around the settings you actually change: stream statistics and diagnostic logging first, then the saved-file reset, with the saved settings, startup restoration, settings file and current session tucked behind a collapsed Technical details section. Persistence errors and legacy-migration notices stay visible above it.
- Give every settings page the same compact header: one Back button before the single page title and the version, with the playback summary shown only on the Options menu. Capture and Audio keep their Refresh catalogs action, and selectors and mandatory confirmations keep their own layout.
🐛 Fixes
AppImage
- Restore runtime builds that stopped with an
APKINDEX.tar.gzchecksum mismatch after the Alpine repository changed. Refresh the signed index and the pinnedlibcurl/libexpatbuild packages, while preserving signature, checksum and package-identity verification.
Interface
- Show input formats only once in Capture settings, using the existing dropdown instead of repeating its choices as radio buttons. Selection still applies immediately.

🔄 Changes
AppImage
- Apply the bundled FFmpeg patch automatically during a rebuild and verify it against a retained checksum; a mismatch rejects the build. This concerns only the privately bundled FFmpeg, never the FFmpeg installed on the host.
- Include the patch in the AppImage notices and corresponding source materials, and retain its application record in build provenance so future builds can verify and reconstruct the bundled changes.
🐛 Fixes
Capture
- Prioritize a recent video image instead of replaying older queued frames, addressing capture startup lag caused by accumulated frames. Each V4L2 read discards older completed frames within a bounded drain, without adding frame copies.
- Keep the packet buffer valid when the decoder still holds frames while capture shuts down, fixing a crash in the new freshness path.

v1.0.0-rc.1
First release candidate for 1.0.0.
🔄 Changes
Interface
- Use English throughout the interface, including controls, settings, status and error messages, and accessibility descriptions.
🐛 Fixes
Interface
- Prevent compositor borders and shadows around the three transparent control windows under XWayland, and explicitly activate clicked or touched controls so subsequent keyboard input reaches them (#25).

v0.1.0-rc.4
Fourth release candidate, prepared for local evaluation. Furami is not stable and this candidate carries no certification. Publication stays gated on the source and license clearance for every public artifact, stable or pre-release. No production behavior changes in this candidate.
Fixes
- Keep the driver channel alive through cleanup in the captured-renderer regression test so the asynchronous owner can no longer fail sending its terminal message, removing an intermittent
SendErrorin CI and leaving strict sender assertions, product code and workflow unchanged (#25, uncommitted local work).
