• 正在播放更稳： 读取播放信息的组件意外退出后会自己重启，不用重开应用。
• 封面更全： 歌曲没有封面时（QQ 音乐、部分浏览器、Apple Music 的在线歌曲）会自动查找，中文歌会在中文商店里找。切歌时不再闪过上一首的封面，封面也更清晰。
• 来源图标： 浏览器里播放时显示浏览器的图标。设置里可以隐藏封面角上的来源应用小图标。
• 一键加入会议： 点一下带会议链接的日程就能加入，支持 Zoom、Google Meet、Teams、Webex、Whereby、Jitsi、腾讯会议、飞书和钉钉；右键可以复制链接或在“日历”中打开。
• 周视图： 日历可以切换成周视图，并选择一周从哪天开始。全天提醒事项显示在正确的日期。
• 没有 Dock 图标： 打开设置或任务监控时 Dock 里也不再出现图标。从“应用程序”里再次打开 QuotaNotch 会直接打开设置。

Steadier Now Playing with more covers, one-click meeting links and a week view in the calendar, and no Dock icon.

• Steadier Now Playing: If the part that reads playback stops, it restarts on its own; no need to reopen the app.
• More covers: When a song has no cover (QQ Music, some browsers, streamed Apple Music tracks), QuotaNotch looks one up, in the Chinese stores for Chinese titles. Changing songs no longer flashes the previous cover, and covers are sharper.
• Source icon: Playback in a browser shows the browser's icon. The small app icon on the cover can be hidden in Settings.
• Join meetings in one click: Click an event with a meeting link to join: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Whereby, Jitsi, Tencent Meeting, Feishu and DingTalk. Right-click to copy the link or open the event in Calendar.
• Week view: The calendar can show a week, starting on the day you choose. All-day reminders appear on the right day.
• No Dock icon: Opening Settings or the task monitor no longer puts an icon in the Dock. Opening QuotaNotch again from Applications opens Settings.

• 宠物用自己的话说： 展开后宠物下面那行字换成它自己的话，比如“茶快见底了”“鸭梨山大”“七分熟”；数字和重置时间在下一行。
• 任务完成时各有各的庆祝： 麻薯的茶冒出小心心，比特在屏幕上打勾，果冻高高蹦起，飘飘翻个跟头，苗苗开花，鱼吐个大泡泡，鸭梨把山扔掉，烤肠被咬一口，牛马把货卸下车。
• 闲着时的小动作： 什么都没发生时，宠物大约每 45 秒自己动一下：伸懒腰、屏保、抖一抖、躲起来、绕缸游一圈、嚼草……打开“减少动态效果”时不动。
• 看着挑宠物： 设置里的宠物改成 9 张会动的小卡片，每张写着它怎么表示额度；刘海里齿轮菜单的每只宠物前面也有小图标。
• 节日装扮： 春节（除夕到初七）、中秋前后、万圣节、圣诞会自动戴上小帽子，旁边还有灯笼、月亮、小蝙蝠、雪花；在设置里填上生日，那天会戴派对帽。设置里可以关掉。

Four new pets, more personality for every pet, a picker that shows the pets themselves, and holiday hats.

• Four new pets: Slacker (the water in its bowl is your quota), Duck Pear (the less quota, the bigger the mountain on its head), BBQ'd (the less quota, the more burnt; at zero it's BBQ'd), and Workhorse (used quota piles up as boxes on its cart). Each reacts in its own way to a click, to repeated clicks and to a click while it sleeps.
• Pets speak for themselves: In the opened notch, the line under the pet is in its own words, such as "Almost out of tea", "Crushing pressure" or "Well done". The numbers and reset time are on the line below.
• A celebration of its own when a task finishes: Mochi's tea steams little hearts, Bit puts a tick on its screen, Jelly bounces high, Wisp does a loop, Sprout blooms, Slacker blows a big bubble, Duck Pear tosses its mountain, BBQ'd gets a bite taken out, and Workhorse unloads its cart.
• Small moves while nothing happens: When nothing is going on, the pet does something small about every 45 seconds: a stretch, a screensaver, a jiggle, hiding, a lap of the bowl, chewing grass. Nothing moves with Reduce Motion on.
• Pick a pet by looking at it: Settings now shows the nine pets as small moving cards, each saying how it shows quota. The gear menu in the notch shows a small picture beside each pet.
• Holiday outfits: Pets wear a small hat for Lunar New Year (New Year's Eve to the 7th day), Mid-Autumn, Halloween and Christmas, with a lantern, a moon, a bat or snow beside them. Set your birthday in Settings for a party hat that day. Outfits can be turned off in Settings.

• 展开后宠物在左边： 任务页和额度页左边是一只放大的宠物和一行状态，例如「2 个在等你」「剩 64%」。有任务在等你时，点宠物直接打开那个任务；没有任务时它会时不时打个盹。任务列表每一行前面显示 Claude / Codex 图标，任务圆点的颜色和列表一致。
• 应用内更新： 设置的「关于」里可以检查更新，也可以选择自动检查、自动下载并安装。每个更新包都会先校验签名再安装。
• 更清楚的提示效果： 任务运行时的光圈和像素波纹更明显，波纹扩散得更远；宠物按 Claude / Codex 着色时，光圈和波纹也换成对应的颜色。
• Claude 额度自己跟上： 以前只有终端里的 Claude Code 在跑时额度才会更新，在 VS Code 里用或者一阵子没用，数字就停住了。现在只要 Claude 有新动静（终端或 VS Code），QuotaNotch 会在后台查一次 Claude Code 的 /usage（不发模型请求、不耗额度，也不碰 Claude 的钥匙串），最多每 3 分钟一次；完全没在用时每 30 分钟查一次。
• 所有额度都能看到： 额度页列出服务的全部额度，每页两张；超过两个（比如 Claude 按模型的每周额度 Fable）时可以左右滑动翻页，标签右边的小圆点也能点。在 Claude / Codex 标签上左右滑动可以切换服务，任务页的分类标签上左右滑动可以切换分类。
• 刘海更稳： 刘海左右伸出的宽度只跟大小设置有关，开始或停止播放音乐时不再变宽变窄；封面和宠物一样大、在同一条中线上。小尺寸下百分比不再被截断。
• 展开动画： 打开时刘海上的内容先向内收起，面板再展开；关闭时反过来。

Two new pets join, and the original three are redrawn. The opened notch now has the pet beside your tasks and quota, and the app can update itself from this version on.

• New pets: Wisp the ghost fades as you use your quota. Sprout's leaves droop as quota runs low, and the water band on its pot shows what is left.
• Redrawn pets: Mochi now has a tall cup of tea whose level is your remaining quota, steaming while there is quota left, and a ω mouth with one little fang. Bit has a wider belly with an 8-cell meter. Jelly has big shiny eyes. All five pets sit in the middle of their space, so the glow and ripples surround their bodies.
• The pet in the opened notch: Tasks and Quota show a larger pet on the left with one line of status, such as "2 need you" or "64% left". Click the pet to open the task that needs you; with nothing to report it dozes off now and then. Each task row starts with its Claude or Codex icon, and the task dots use the task list's colors.
• In-app updates: Check for updates in Settings › About, or let QuotaNotch check, download and install them automatically. Every update's signature is verified before it is installed.
• Clearer effects: The glow and pixel ripples around running tasks are easier to see, and the ripples travel farther. When pets are tinted by Claude / Codex, the glow and ripples take that color too.
• Claude quota keeps up on its own: Quota used to update only while Claude Code ran in a terminal, so it froze when you used Claude in VS Code or paused for a while. Now, whenever a Claude session changes (terminal or VS Code), QuotaNotch checks Claude Code's /usage in the background, at most every 3 minutes, and every 30 minutes when Claude is idle. This sends no prompt, uses no quota and never touches Claude's Keychain item.
• Every quota window: The Quota page lists all of a service's windows, two at a time. With more than two, such as Claude's per-model week (Fable), swipe sideways or click the dots beside the tabs. Swipe sideways over the Claude / Codex tabs to switch services, and over the task filters to switch filters.
• A steadier notch: How far the notch reaches to each side depends only on the size setting; it no longer widens or narrows when music starts or stops. The album cover is the same size as the pet and lines up with it. The percentage no longer gets cut off at the small size.
• Opening and closing: When the notch opens, its contents fold in toward the camera before the panel appears, and the reverse when it closes.

The quota ring in the closed notch is now a pixel pet. Its body shows your remaining quota, and it reacts to your tasks. The notch also comes in three sizes.

• Pixel pets: Choose Mochi (cat), Bit (robot) or Jelly (slime). The cat's bowl, the robot's chest meter and the slime's water level show remaining quota. They turn yellow, then red, when quota runs low, look alarmed when you are using it too fast, fall asleep when it is empty and celebrate when it refills. Keep their own colors or tint them by Claude / Codex.
• Tasks at a glance: Without music, the remaining percentage, a quota bar and up to three task dots sit beside the pet (green running, blinking amber needs you, blue done). While music plays, the album takes the left side and tasks show as a small tag on the pet. The pet taps the glass when a task needs you and celebrates briefly when one finishes. A faint ripple surrounds it while tasks run and it blinks when one needs you, in your choice of Soft glow or Pixel effects.
• One tap away: While tasks are shown, clicking the notch opens Tasks; otherwise it opens Quota.
• Quota peeks during music: Crossing 50%, 20% or empty, a refill, or a too-fast pace shows a short line below the notch, such as "Claude 5h · 18% left · resets in 2h".
• Three sizes: The larger-text option is now a slider. Standard enlarges only the pet; Small and Large also resize the notch icons and the opened panel.
• Steadier layout: The notch no longer changes width as tasks come and go, the camera stays centered, and the panel opens from the center instead of drifting left. The quota panel is back to one tab per service.
• Removed: The quota ring mode, swiping between quota and tasks in the closed notch, and the walking cat. Swiping across the opened header to change pages is kept.

QuotaNotch 1.06 reads Claude quota from Claude Code's own status line, so Keychain prompts are gone. Settings are reorganized around a new Connections page, and rarely used features were removed.

• No more Keychain access: Click Connect Claude Code in Settings → Connections or during first launch. QuotaNotch records only the 5-hour and 7-day usage from Claude Code's status line and never reads or refreshes login tokens. An existing status line command is kept and still shown; disconnecting restores settings.json byte for byte. Requires Claude Pro or Max. Note: with a status line, Claude Code hides some footer hints such as "esc to interrupt".
• New Connections page: Quota, optional task events and data folders for Claude Code and Codex in one place, each with its current state.
• Quota panel: Claude and Codex side by side; a service without data shows how to connect or sign in. Bars stay neutral until quota runs low. One "Closed notch shows" choice, defaulting to the lowest remaining quota.
• Tasks: Esc interrupts and commands like /model no longer leave a task stuck on "Working". Notifications show only the project and status.

• Claude sign-in: Uses valid local credentials first and reduces repeated Keychain reads. Authentication failures no longer trigger fallback detection that could cause additional permission prompts.

QuotaNotch 1.04 adds an optional notch cat, improves task status cues and read management, and fixes the layout when music and tasks appear together.

• Notch cat: Enable it in settings, then move the pointer back and forth near either notch edge to invite it out. Optional reactions can accompany completed tasks or tasks that need attention. Off by default.
• Clearer task states: Updated icons use distinct colors, symbols and animations for working, waiting, completed, interrupted and failed tasks. Waiting tasks gently bounce, while errors have a breathing glow.
• Read all: Clear unread markers across all projects or within the selected project. Working and waiting tasks remain visible, and later updates can notify you again.
• Layout fixes: Adding tasks on the right no longer shifts music on the left. Switching between music, quota and tasks keeps their positions and alignment consistent.

• Task monitoring: Follow local Codex desktop, VS Code extension and CLI sessions, plus Claude Code sessions with local transcripts. See project/root folder, source, task name and current state, with quick filters.
• Compact layouts: Music stays left. Quota and tasks share fixed widget/minimal footprints. Task-only mode shows a priority state symbol on the left and two recent task names with small state marks on the right.
• Readable details: Task names lead each row; project and source appear below. Details expand inline within the fixed-height, scrollable panel, aligned with task titles. Redundant prompts are removed.
• Bounded history: Read results remain visible, slightly subdued with relative timestamps. Keep 1 hour, 5 hours by default, or 1 day; working and waiting tasks are exempt. Each conversation has one current record.
• Header swiping: Swipe anywhere across the open header row to move between Music, Quota and Tasks, one page per gesture, without wrapping or interfering with body scrolling and button clicks.
• State awareness: Small shapes supplement state colors, with subtle running motion that respects Reduce Motion. Optional hooks improve approval-wait detection without approving operations.

Install: Quit QuotaNotch, download QuotaNotch-1.03.dmg, and replace the app in Applications. Version 1.03 (291); macOS 15+, Apple Silicon and Intel. Existing preferences are retained.

Monitoring requires local activity records. Claude Chat/Cowork and remote sessions without local records are not covered. Review and trust optional hooks in the relevant app after installation. The app remains ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized; updates install manually.

QuotaNotch 1.02 improves Claude usage recovery, makes system indicators consistent, and simplifies settings with clearer English and Chinese layouts.

• Claude recovery: Refreshes and reloads credentials when needed, with a time-limited Claude Code usage fallback to recover from authentication changes.
• Consistent system indicators: Volume, brightness and related controls appear below the current notch content across music, combined and quota-only modes.
• Simpler preferences: Removes the idle face, manual notch sizing, hover-delay adjustment and small decorative options. Notch height adapts to the display, with consistent visual defaults.
• Settings layout: Regroups related options, aligns labels and controls, fixes crowded English text and clipped sidebar labels, and completes missing Chinese labels. The settings window resizes and remembers its dimensions.
• Permissions and saved choices: Distinguishes calendar permission states, preserves configuration while monitoring or providers are paused, and explains automatic quota selection and its manual fallback.
• Music controls: Click and drag now share duplicate-handling rules. A full layout requires an explicit replacement choice, and source settings reflect the active fallback.
