This release turns shot2code into a broader local-first design-to-code
workspace: app-owned GitHub sign-in, multi-model Copilot SDK BYOK, MCP and
Agent Skills discovery, Figma and Stitch imports, durable conversational
history, stronger Review/Design Inspector workflows, exact export-project
inspection, and sandboxed HTML/stack previews.

Added

  • App-owned GitHub OAuth device flow with expiring-token refresh and
operating-system encrypted storage in the Windows desktop app.
  • Official MCP Registry browsing with disabled/untrusted installation drafts,
plus featured Figma Desktop, Figma Remote and Google Stitch configurations.
  • Local/public-GitHub Agent Skill import with validation, provenance, explicit
enablement and Copilot-only execution; shell tools remain disabled.
  • Figma REST/PAT frame import, SVG reference import, and Figma-link generation
through a configured Copilot MCP runtime.
  • Bundled experimental @google/stitch-sdk support for prompt generation and
Stitch project/screen import using the user's API key.
  • Design Inspector exports for DESIGN.md, SKILL.md, and palette PNGs.
  • A bounded, no-tools AI-assisted Review pass tied to the exact model recorded
    for the selected option.
  • A read-only Export project mode in the Code tab that shows the exact
stack-aware text files and downloaded-asset manifest produced for the project
ZIP without replacing the current source view.
  • An additive Stack preview beside the existing HTML preview. Controlled
Vite HTML, React and Preact export files run inside the existing sandbox
without executing package scripts or project configuration.
  • Desktop packaging now uses Electron 44.4.3, electron-builder 26.15.3 and
electron-updater 6.8.9; the complete desktop dependency audit is clean.

Changed

  • Chat reconstructs the full active-branch conversation, including persisted
assistant responses, while History shows each selected option's exact model
    identity.
  • One BYOK endpoint can expose several discovered or manually entered models as
    independent selectable identities.
  • Upload and Import expose optional first instructions; imported projects can
immediately enter the same refinement flow.
  • Review findings support severity filters, text search, visible-selection
controls, automatic fixes and model attribution.
  • In-app documentation links point to the rendered product site; GitHub remains
only for source and issue-tracker destinations.
  • Project download and pre-download inspection now share one backend projection,
and the active selected stack is used consistently for both.

Fixed

  • The initial generation WebSocket is accepted before frozen deferred route
imports finish, and long generations send an application heartbeat.
  • An abnormal close after every option reached a terminal state no longer
    reports a false generation failure.
  • ScreenshotOne failures now expose actionable authentication, billing,
rate-limit, timeout and URL messages; the URL tab can test its key.
  • Replicate image tools are not advertised without an effective key, while an
environment-provided key no longer disables the user's image-generation
    preference switch.
  • Cancelled selected options automatically fall back to a completed option when
one exists, keeping Chat editable and Review fixes usable.
  • Fragment links inside packaged srcdoc previews stay inside the preview
instead of attempting blocked file:// navigation.
  • Fragment-link interception no longer stops generated pages' own click
handlers, so href="#" controls, menus, tabs and modal triggers remain
    interactive.
  • Project data remains outside the installation directory and NSIS explicitly
preserves app data during upgrades/uninstall-reinstall workflows.
  • Stack-preview assets are size-bounded before entering the renderer; assets
over the preview budget remain visible in the manifest rather than being
    silently dropped.
  • Concurrent GitHub device-flow status polls share one serialized backend
restart, preventing a successful sign-in from entering a kill/restart loop.
  • Public GitHub Agent Skills can be imported from a folder directly under the
repository root as well as from nested folders.
  • Frozen first-run Chromium discovery has a larger optional background timeout
so antivirus scanning does not cache a false unavailable result.

Security

  • Capture-only ScreenshotOne, Figma and Stitch credentials are stripped before
    model-generation payloads are built.
  • Imported skills reject traversal, binary/oversized content and duplicate
installs, remain disabled by default, and cannot introduce shell access.
  • Figma image downloads, Stitch SDK downloads and MCP registry entries are
bounded and restricted to expected HTTPS endpoints.
