This is a re-submission of PR #21579 to add an easy installation of an ArduPilot compatible setup of ROS on an ubuntu machine. In particular this makes it easy to get AP SITL + ROS running.

I've tested this on my WSL2/Ubuntu20.04 installation and it works.

I find that it is a pity that ROS1 got selected.
All ROS1 features of mavros are now ported to ROS2. So there are no excuses to use ROS1 anymore AFAIK.

@amilcarlucas,

Indeed we would like to support ROS2 but we discussed this at the beginning of the GSoC project and decided that we needed to first get ROS1 working (again). At the time the project started mavros was not officially working with ROS2 (at least that is my understanding).

Anyway, it's done now but if you or someone else is interested in adding a similar script for ROS2 that would be great of course.
