Copter: Payload Place: Fix first run abort #27548

This fixes the bug in payload place where we do not set the start altitude when we abort payload place because the gripper is already released.

This bug causes the aircraft to go to the previous altitude or zero.

I also made the message clearer as this was one of the reasons I didn't pick up on the problem initially.
