Install Required Software

There are a few software components which need to be installed in order to run this demo successfully:

1. DHCP Server
2. IIO Oscilloscope
3. A SW terminal like Tera Term VT or Putty

DHCP Server

The Host computer is connected via ethernet directly to the target board. A DHCP server facility is provided to set up IP addresses for both the host and the target. The host is hard wired to 192.168.0.1 and the target is allocated 192.168.0.2 When using the IIO Oscilloscope application or any other User Space application designate the target address as 192.168.0.2

• Acquire dhcp_server.7z.
• Unzip the file.

IIO Oscilloscope

IIO Oscilloscope is a tool developed by Analog Devices. It can be downloaded for Windows or Linux from this web site: https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/iio-oscilloscope/releases (Download and install v0.11)
