Kikinator v1.2.0

Kikinator v1.2.0 — Japanese Scales & Slow Tempo

Designed for care sector sound design and ambient installations.

What's New

• In (陰) scale — Classic Japanese minor pentatonic (C Db F G Ab), serene and contemplative
• Hirajoshi scale — Japanese pentatonic (C D Eb G Ab), gentle and meditative
• Extended tempo range — Now goes down to 2 BPM (was 20), with knob skewed toward slow values
• Sparser density — Flotsam now goes down to 0.05 notes/bar for ultra-sparse generation
• Defaults tuned for ambient: 40 BPM, 0.5 notes/bar

Care Sector Preset Tips

Set Chart to In (Japanese) or Hirajoshi, Current to 5–15 BPM, Flotsam to 0.1–0.3, and Doldrums high (0.8+) for long overlapping tones.
