PrismLock 1.0.5
PrismLock 1.0.5
Requires a framework supporting modern libxposed API 102, as in 1.0.4. Update in place, check the module's activation/scope, then restart the scoped process or reboot so Samsung loads the updated module. Your settings and selections are retained.
Artwork and catalog
- Add Keqing's static symbol with light/AOD variants, the complete electro effect, and appear/disappear motion styles.
- Compare decoded images and complete animation sequences to consolidate repeated visual designs. The catalog now shows 30 fingerprint families and 19 effect families, with 60 selectable styles; alternate colors and meaningful motion remain available inside each family.
- Preserve all previous selection identifiers. The old Outline tag resolves to the sharper Bubble artwork; other retained styles keep their own image data and source timing.
- Use a native style picker and align title/variant columns with thumbnails and selection markers.
Fluidity and efficiency
- Retarget all 74 built-in compositions, including light/AOD resources, to a 120fps playback timebase with temporal interpolation and unchanged durations. Source images remain 30/60fps artwork; this does not invent captured frames or guarantee 120 rendered frames on every device.
- Request up to 120Hz for the app at the current display resolution when supported. Actual refresh depends on display, power policy, renderer and device load. Static icons remain static.
- Share concurrent thumbnail requests, deliver cached wallpaper immediately, and rebind only affected visible rows.
- Release idle background worker threads and recycle canceled, unpublished preview bitmaps without removing visual effects.
- Keep automatic foreground update checks and the signed in-place installer.
Validation
- 83 automated tests passed; catalog integrity, alias/style compatibility, old selections, timing preservation, interpolation, worker lifecycle, updates and API 102 hooks are covered. Debug/release lint completed without errors; release signing and APK alignment verified.
- Installed and checked on Galaxy S23. The installed file exactly matches this release artifact; the user confirmed functionality. Three navigation/scroll tests recorded 3 janky frames out of 915, ~120Hz frame intervals and 8ms p95 in the two warm runs (14ms on the first run). Idle named PrismLock workers terminated. These are smoke-test results, not an all-device performance guarantee.

PrismLock 1.0.4
Requirements and upgrading
This version requires a framework supporting modern libxposed API 102. Legacy-only Xposed/LSPosed frameworks cannot load PrismLock 1.0.4; update the framework before upgrading the module. Version 1.0.3 remains the last legacy release.
After upgrading, check that PrismLock is enabled for com.samsung.android.biometrics.app.setting, then restart the scoped process or reboot. A Samsung process still running the old module retains the previous scaling/clipping behavior until it restarts. Ordinary icon/effect selections still save automatically.
Changes
- Fully migrate to libxposed 102.0.0 and modern module registration.
- Improve app responsiveness with recycled catalog rows, asynchronous thumbnails and display-sized wallpaper decoding. Preserve the existing appearance, catalog and visual effects.
- Fix enlarged OxygenOS/custom icon glow clipping on compatible Samsung Lottie versions by allowing artwork outside composition/parent bounds. Restore Samsung's clipping when custom artwork is disabled, without changing sensor/touch geometry. Give enlarged previews enough space for the full glow.
- Move hook configuration loading and artwork preparation off Samsung's UI thread, retaining complete snapshots and immediate configuration-change notifications.
- Check stable updates in the background on every foreground entry and offer them on the current screen without opening Settings. Share concurrent requests and retry failures immediately.
- Keep PNG/Lottie imports, light/AOD variants, size controls, themes and the signed update installer.
Validation
- 61 automated tests passed, covering API 102 hooks, caches/tint/variants/imports, clipping restoration, catalog/previews, startup update offers and installer callbacks.
- All 57 catalog entries validated; debug/release lint completed without errors. Release certificate and APK alignment verified.
- Installed and checked on Galaxy S23 (SM-S911B), reported Android 17 / API 37, LSPosed 2.2.1. Confirmed API 102 hook loading. Three navigation/scroll smoke tests recorded 1 janky frame out of 463 rendered frames, with 95th-percentile frame times of 5–6 ms. This sample does not establish all-model performance or compatibility.
Download PrismLock-1.0.4.apk below. Source archives are not installable apps. The APK uses the existing official release key and updates in place while preserving settings.
PrismLock 1.0.3
- Adds 11 ColorOS 17 fingerprint designs and 10 touch effects at 60 fps from the Find X9 Ultra firmware.
- Updates matching catalog entries in place so saved selections use the new artwork automatically.
- Normalizes fingerprint icons to the selected size and uses a shared visible footprint for all catalog effects, including Aqua.
The APK uses the same signing certificate as 1.0.2. Restart the phone after updating to reload the LSPosed module.
Validation covered catalog integrity, desktop rendering and automated tests. Samsung lock-screen verification on a physical device is pending.
PrismLock 1.0.2
Fix the in-app update flow stopping after the unknown-app installation permission screen.
- Resume the downloaded update automatically when returning from Settings after granting permission.
- Reverify the cached APK without downloading it again.
- Fix the installer callback so Android can supply its status and confirmation intent.
- Open installation confirmation through the foreground app and queue it while the app is in the background.
- Clean up unfinished installer sessions after errors.
Updating from 1.0.0 or 1.0.1: if the old updater is stuck opening the installer, install this release once from your browser using the APK below. This repairs the updater for future releases. Publishing a new release cannot change updater code already installed on a phone. Root installation, when authorized, remains available.
The official signing key and package identity are unchanged; update over the existing app to preserve settings. Restart the phone after updating to load the LSPosed module.
Validation: 12 Robolectric checks passed on simulated Android 12 and Android 16, including a negative control reproducing the old immutable-callback failure. Release build, catalog integrity, fingerprint-loader regressions, APK signature and alignment checks passed. Physical S26 Ultra verification remains pending.
PrismLock 1.0.1
Fix fingerprint icons retaining old artwork or disappearing when Samsung applies its stock icon tint. Custom icons now use a cache key for each configuration change, and keyguard refreshes the selection even when the theme stays the same.
- Preserve the colors of Prism, Vortex, Orbit and Neon.
- Add light and AOD variants for AOSP and OxygenOS.
- Preserve existing touch-effect behavior and imported-icon priority.
Update from Settings → App → Updates, then restart your phone to load the updated LSPosed hook. Settings are preserved.
Validation: signed release build, signature/alignment checks, catalog integrity, host regression checks and desktop rendering of all 46 compositions passed. Verification on the reported S26 Ultra remains pending.
PrismLock 1.0.0

Migration and signing
Package: io.github.aureliomo.prismlock. Version code: 20.
- Disable the old
com.fpring.samsungmodule before enabling PrismLock. Settings
do not migrate between those packages. Do not enable both modules or RingPrint. - This APK uses a dedicated release key. If you have a debug-signed PrismLock
installation, disable it and uninstall it before installing this APK. Uninstalling
removes its settings. Future official releases will retain this signing key. - SHA-256 signing certificate:
6e89f50c348d5857f85476d77622ef6c39334ae895661506a55c63a98b06c850.
Status and limitations
This is an experimental prerelease, not a stable compatibility guarantee.
Research used a Galaxy S23 / SM-S911B running a custom One UI 9 / Android 17 ROM.
Other firmware is unverified. The latest Aqua fix and AOD behavior require physical
lockscreen acceptance. Build, catalog, APK signature and alignment checks passed;
these are not proof of sensor behavior. Keep a way to disable the module.
The module changes visual resources, not authentication, enrollment or sensor logic.
It does not restart system processes automatically.
