PowerToolbar 1.2.0
The End app action now restarts File Explorer: terminate its processes, wait for them to exit, then launch explorer.exe again.
- The Explorer tooltip and confirmation show Restart Windows Explorer. Confirmation defaults to No.
- Explorer folder windows close; the desktop and taskbar may briefly disappear during restart.
- The same executable is relaunched by its full path. If Windows has already restored the desktop shell, no additional instance is requested.
- Other applications retain termination without relaunch. Same-named executables in other folders remain excluded.
- Relaunch failures show recovery instructions. A partial termination failure does not prevent a relaunch attempt for processes that were ended.
- Application, five-language About labels, installer and release metadata remain 1.2.0 (file version 1.2.0.0).

Requires x64 Windows 10 version 1607 or newer, including Windows 11. Both packages include the MIT license and use a static runtime.
The application and installer remain unsigned. Windows may display an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning. The installer was compiled without executing it; installation, upgrade and uninstall remain unverified, so this package retains pre-release status.
Release x64, native placement checks and all 158 desktop assertions passed. The live File Explorer restart changed the shell process ID from 39860 to 8660; the desktop and taskbar returned and PowerToolbar stayed running. Isolated tests also verified cancellation, relaunch from the same executable path, and ordinary app termination without relaunch.
