Patch release: Model history and the change preview show exactly what changed. No metamodel, generator or API contract changes.
Highlights
- Model history no longer reports classes as removed when they were not. When a version's class diagram could not be built, for example because two enumerations kept the default name, its row said every class was removed and the next row said they were all added. The history now shows one line, "class diagram not compared: one version could not be read", on both rows, and descriptions of pull requests opened from the editor do the same. A version that is not valid JSON, such as committed conflict markers, is handled the same way.
- The change preview marks only what is new on a class. A new attribute on an existing class used to ring the whole class in the author's colour, as if they had added it. Now only the new or changed row is marked, with the author beside it, as after Get latest. New classes are still marked whole.
- The preview marks new relationships. A new relationship is drawn in the author's colour with their name on the line, and the bar names it by its classes (
Guest – Review) instead of counting it. Each save now records who added a relationship, so after Get latest it stays marked and hovering it says who added it and when. A relationship saved before this has no author and is not marked. (Oneditor.besser-pearl.org; the PyPI package 8.9.1 was published before this addition and does not record relationship authors.) - Dialogs keep wide content inside the window. This was already live on
editor.besser-pearl.organd is now part of a release.
