Docker & Container Support

  • Added Dockerfile for running Crust as a containerized service, using a Debian-based image with sqlite3, bash, curl, and git
    pre-installed.
  • New --foreground flag: Runs the server in the foreground instead of daemonizing — essential for containers where the process
    must stay as PID 1.
  • New --listen-address flag: Overrides the proxy bind address (default 127.0.0.1), allowing traffic from outside the container to
    reach the proxy.
  • Fixed Docker build: Switched base image from Alpine to Debian, added sqlite3 dependency, and added support for installing from a
    specific branch.

Other Changes

  • Security: enforced Windows ACL on sensitive files; hardened path normalizer against Unicode bypass vectors.
  • CI: Added cross-platform tests (Linux, Windows, macOS), govulncheck, nilaway static analysis, and race detector.
  • Docs: Updated installers to document branch installs.
