v2.4.0 - A real scheduler, in the box
Minor release. MineralUI gets a calendar group — a full scheduler for Pro and a compact mini calendar for everyone. Nothing existing breaks: MCalendarBoard and MTimelineBoard moved into the new group and are still exported from data exactly as before.
New: MScheduler (Pro)
- One set of events, every view you need. Week, day, day split by resource, a horizontal timeline, month and agenda all read the same data, so switching views never means reshaping it. Use the all-in-one MScheduler or compose it yourself from the toolbar, filter bar, body and view parts, and drive it through the useMScheduler hook.
- Built for people, rooms and equipment. Group resources into sets and pick one from the view menu: the day view gives each resource its own column, the timeline gives each one a row with a sticky name column and hour header — both scroll sideways when there are more than fit.
- Availability that means something. Mark lunch breaks, closures or maintenance as unavailable slots. By default they are a visual hint; flag them as blocking and the scheduler refuses anything dropped on them. Block events always refuse — and a block tied to resources only stops events of those resources.
- Drag, drop and resize everywhere it makes sense — time grid, timeline and month (moving across days keeps the time of day). Every move is validated live against your own rule, and a refusal tells the user why, right on the drop target. Everything also works from the keyboard, and touch uses a long-press so scrolling stays scrolling.
- Select a range to create an event, open event details with organiser and participants, see "+N more" in busy month cells and drill into the day and back.
- Grow with the page. Set height to auto and the views stop scrolling inside a box: they take the height they need and their headers stick to the top of the page.
New: MMiniCalendar (Basic)
- A small month picker with proper keyboard navigation, following the WAI-ARIA date grid pattern. Free in the Basic package.
Smaller additions
- MDropdownItem takes a description, a role and a checked state, so menus can show checkbox and radio items with a second line of text.
- MSelect lets you set the placeholder of its search field.
