  • 状态共享： Chrome 和 DSH 使用同一份生产 MCP Servers UI，运行期状态与权限来自 Agent Helm Core。

Breaking Changes / 升级注意

配套 Agent Helm Core 的 MCP Tool Schema 已变化：external_mcp_search_tools 已被 external_mcp_list_tools 取代。升级并重启 Core 后，务必在 ChatGPT 自定义 Connector 中执行 Refresh Tools。 这不会删除已导入的 Server 或撤销授权。Extension 与 Core 版本需匹配。

验证范围

  • Chrome Extension 110 项测试、共享 UI、生产构建和管理接口已通过；其他 Chromium 浏览器与宿主发布门禁按既有流程验证。

安装 wrapper 存放在 Extension repo 的 raw main；Release 只承载版本化 Extension/Installer 产物和 manifest。

wrapper 从所选 Extension Release 的 manifest 读取固定 Agent Helm pin，完成 Node/Agent Helm、Native Messaging bridge、Extension zip 下载与校验，最后需在目标兼容浏览器中手动执行一次 Load unpacked。Windows Native Messaging 使用当前用户的 HKCU 注册，不要求管理员权限。

如果只安装 Chrome Extension，而本地还没有 Agent Helm，Extension 会显示 Download Installer。只有用户点击后才申请可选 downloads 权限：macOS 下载本 Release 的 Agent-Helm-Installer-0.1.2.pkg，Windows x64 下载 Agent-Helm-Installer-0.1.2-win32-x64.cmd。

macOS 手工下载和 Extension 下载使用相同 PKG bytes；generic PKG 默认注册正式 Extension ID，文件名中的 --chrome-<id> 仅作为显式 override。Windows 手工下载和 Extension 下载使用同一个 CMD asset bytes；CMD 直接调用稳定 install.ps1，因此 Runtime / Node、Agent Helm、Native Messaging bridge 与 Terminal 安装使用同一套实现。

测试说明：macOS 安装与发布流程已完成真机验证；Windows x64 的原生 SRT 命令执行已通过真实黑盒 E2E，但 Windows 安装器及全部机器配置仍需另行验证。

0.1.2 release changes

New features

  • MCP Server Integration — MCP Servers management: The Side Panel includes My MCP Servers / Discover MCPs to manually scan Codex/Claude servers, import, enable/disable, and configure required environment values, HTTP credentials and supported authentication.
  • Shared state: Chrome and DSH use the same production MCP Servers UI, with runtime state and approval owned by Agent Helm Core.

Improvements

  • Scan visibility: An isolated source scan failure is reported without hiding healthy source discoveries.

Breaking changes / upgrade

The matching Agent Helm Core changes the MCP Tool Schema: external_mcp_search_tools is replaced by external_mcp_list_tools. After upgrading and restarting Core, select Refresh Tools in your ChatGPT Custom Connector. This does not remove imported servers or approvals. Keep Extension and Core versions compatible.

Validation

  • Chrome Extension's 110 tests, shared UI, production build and management integration passed. Other Chromium variants and host-only publication gates require separate validation.

The install wrappers live on raw main in the Extension repository; Releases carry only versioned Extension/Installer artifacts and manifests.

The wrapper reads the fixed Agent Helm pin from the selected Extension Release manifest, handles Node/Agent Helm, Native Messaging bridge registration, and verified Extension zip download, then requires one manual Load unpacked action in the target compatible browser. Windows Native Messaging is registered under the current user's HKCU and does not require administrator access.

If only the Chrome Extension is installed and Agent Helm is missing, the Extension shows Download Installer. The optional downloads permission is requested only after the user clicks. macOS downloads Agent-Helm-Installer-0.1.2.pkg; Windows x64 downloads Agent-Helm-Installer-0.1.2-win32-x64.cmd.

Manual and Extension-triggered downloads use the same bytes for each platform. The generic macOS PKG registers the official Extension ID by default, while a local filename containing --chrome-<id> is only an explicit override. The Windows CMD calls the stable install.ps1, so Runtime / Node, Agent Helm, and Native Messaging bridge stages are shared with the Terminal installation path.

Testing note: the macOS installation and release flow has been validated on real hardware. Windows x64 native SRT command execution has passed real black-box E2E, while the Windows installer and all device configurations still require separate acceptance.
