• On Django 4.2 to 6.1, add_query_method() (and so patch()) now treats QUERY as a safe method in Django's
  CsrfViewMiddleware, matching Django 6.2. QUERY requests no longer need a CSRF token on any supported version,
  including session-authenticated requests through DRF's SessionAuthentication.

• patch() makes django-rest-framework-datatables read
  QUERY request bodies, so server-side DataTables can send their parameters as a QUERY body.

These are the changes that will go out in the next release.
