🛣️ Roadmap

The whole manual is converted and on staging. Now: review, polish, then go live with the new website.

Plans: Tier 1 · Tier 2 · Tier 3

📍 Where we are

Stage What Status
1 📘 Getting Started end to end: Markdown, Pages CMS, checks, preview, sync ✅
2 📚 The whole manual converted, no words lost (332 pages, 9 sections) ✅
3 🧭 Artist structure: editor › object › mode, Interface topics, Workspaces, overview pages, Docs home ✅
4 🔍 Findability: summaries, instant search (Ctrl K), page status, links back to Interface ✅
5 🗺️ Workspace maps and explorer; Main workspace on the Docs home ✅
6 🧰 Maintainer handbook (this wiki) ✅
7 👀 Review pass: pages from Draft to Reviewed against Bforartists 5.3 🟡 under way
8 📸 Fresh screenshots and workspace captures in the default theme ⏳
9 🚀 Docs on master (Oct 2026); next: go-live with the new website, bforartists.co switches (maintainer's click) 🔄

🧭 Later

What Status
🎮 Quick Starts: a skill map of short guides around one little film 📌 Pinned until after website V4 (needs artwork and story)
⌨️ Interactive keymap: exported from Bforartists, compare with Blender, your own keymap, printable sheets 📝 Designed, logged for later
🌍 Translations ⏳

📌 Decisions

# Decision
D3 👀 A preview link first; insert buttons later, only if writers ask
D4 🖋️ WYSIWYG, drag and drop, nothing to install
D6 🤖 The image bot files screenshots
D7 🧭 Keep the website's sidebar, chapter panels and sticky page sections
D13 📝 No trimming or rewording until the whole manual is live (structure work allowed)
D14 🐙 GitHub is the truth; docs pages are never edited in Webflow
