Stock Library 1.0.0
Use any asset the game ships (models, materials, images, weapons, sounds) in your own map or mod. It indexes the game's fastfiles and answers Apex, Dragon, Blackbird and Radiant. Requires Apex and Dragon.
Built from source commit 92dd294 (the source is not published).
- First use. The first index takes a few minutes (longer on a hard disk). It resumes if interrupted or cancelled, and later refreshes re-read only the zones that changed.
- Browse and copy. In Apex, search the game's assets next to yours, preview them, see what they use, and Create local copy with everything they need (undoable, even after a failed copy).
- Use directly. With Dragon and Blackbird, a map uses a stock asset by name and nothing is copied.
- Sounds. Browse and play the game's sounds, or copy one into
sound_assets. Dragon carries the ones your map uses (needs Ultrasound 1.1). - Radiant. With the MTPlugins host installed, stock models appear in Radiant's model browser.
Known limits
- In Radiant a stock model's preview appears the next time you select it.
- The Radiant plugin is new; please report problems with it.
- The setup is unsigned: Windows may ask you to confirm it the first time.
Install with stocklib-setup.exe, or unzip stocklib-1.0.0-win-x64.zip into the Black Ops III folder.
