Install: download Sub-X.apk on your Android phone, open it and install it over your current Sub-X (your data stays). Android 7 or newer. If Play Protect warns about an unrecognised app, tap More details → Install anyway.

New in this release

  • Stackmat timers: plug a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Stackmat into the microphone jack and tap Connect Stackmat. This app version adds the microphone permission it needs. The microphone is only used to read the timer's signal: nothing is recorded or sent.
  • New events: 6×6, 7×7, 3×3 Blindfolded, Megaminx, Square-1 and Clock.
  • Voice calls at 8 and 12 seconds of inspection (or beeps, where the phone can't speak).
  • Achievements and streaks, comp sim rounds, and Send to another device to move all your times with one link.
  • A short welcome tour for new cubers.

Sub-X 1.4 keeps working: everything except the Stackmat also reaches it through the website. As before, the app loads from https://bluex7710.github.io/sub-x/, so other updates arrive by themselves. Signed with a test key: meant for installing yourself, not the Play Store.
