PDF Merger v1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@BrancoDigital BrancoDigital released this 04 Nov 06:57

This release fixes the setup and ships a macOS app that opens without a Terminal window.

Changes:

  • The app is now a normal macOS app, PDF Merger.app. Before, a Terminal window opened with it.
  • requirements.txt now lists the correct package (pypdf). Before, it listed packages that the tool does not use, and it did not list PyPDF2.
  • The tool now uses pypdf. PyPDF2 is no longer maintained.
  • The command-line script merge_pdfs.py is now in the repository. It exits with code 1 when a merge fails.
  • The repository now has tests and build instructions.

To install, download pdf-merger-macos.zip, unzip it, and open PDF Merger.app. The app is not signed. If macOS blocks it, right-click the app and select Open.
