Cale AI Workbench v0.5.656
Workbench task, donation and media recovery
-
Music recovery keeps one worker per song and respects Pause and Stop during audio validation. If a shared engine repeatedly confirms that a saved song is missing, its replacement runs in a private worker.
-
Pause, Stop and new instructions take precedence over unfinished step checks, ordinary file writes and completion.
-
A donation review reserves its saved-draft slot before inference. If a worker crashes before saving a draft, its review area becomes available again and its recorded usage stays in the ledger.
-
Saved donations can recover from a lost fork without another model call. Drafts from earlier releases are revalidated against their original inputs.
-
Task progress reads from a single database snapshot. Overlapping saved donations stay queued, and an abandoned free-cloud retry slot can be reclaimed.
-
Long tasks recover their current step even when old saved evidence is oversized. The task database uses an index to fetch the latest completed steps.
-
Interrupted songs are checked in their own workers. Damaged recordings are preserved and the supervisor stays available to run other tasks.
-
Image jobs respect Pause and Stop during recovery. Competing workers start only one render, and retries preserve existing files. Updates wait for running image jobs.
-
Video jobs show progress without starting a shell process. Each job renders once, and updates wait for running video workers.
-
Donation review results stay current during AI cooldowns and daily limits. Delayed GitHub replies can no longer replace a newer result.
-
Closed donation PRs can pick up a later acceptance label or merge within the existing request limit.
-
The updater checks for new work during dependency setup and waits before replacing app files when a worker starts.
-
Recovery shows progress as unavailable when a saved step has an invalid status, and keeps the task notes visible.
-
Cale reports an invalid saved step status before advancing a task or starting a new phase.
-
A game starter checks for changes to the project rules before requesting a choice and before creating files.
-
Retries failed donation review lookups after five minutes when the daily recheck is due.
-
Skips the exact reviewed mastering scope in automatic donations until its source or tests change.
-
Old source lookups no longer delay donation credit or discard a valid acceptance response.
-
A saved browser repair can update a task only if the original accessible role and name assertions are still present.
-
Browser tests can check exact native input, textarea, and single-select values through saved checks and task steps.
-
Saved empty-form checks now use live values and block task completion while a field still contains text.
-
Task steps can verify a click that changes a native form value after the input is filled.
-
Workbench self-check skips the two retired Print Farm tests left behind by older installs.
-
Task recovery retains the active step and saved progress after failures containing multilingual diagnostics.
-
Damaged labels on completed steps no longer hide the current task or its progress.
-
Task recovery stops before running a check when the active and pending step order is inconsistent.
-
Space-shooter starters use the requested starting and restart lives immediately.
-
Game handoff reruns completed browser checks for the current request to catch later regressions.
-
Windows review sends the task back for verification if the game or its saved feature checks changed after worker handoff.
Cale Workbench 0.5.625 — Print Farm is now standalone
Print Farm is now the standalone Cale AI Print Farm app, with its own Windows installer and repository: https://github.com/CaleMediaDev/cale-ai-print-farm
This update removes the Print Farm page, its background service, and print-specific update blockers from Cale Workbench. Workbench updates no longer depend on the standalone farm's printer activity. Existing private farm data remains on the PC.
Validated the application syntax, update/setup wiring, 36 updater tests (plus 5 subtests), and the install manifest/archive contract. The standalone app has its own queue, camera, migration, and fleet tests.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.624
Fix Print Farm page shaking when camera detections appear, disappear, or wrap onto another line. Camera captions and AI observations now occupy a fixed area, so streaming text cannot repeatedly move the printer cards and order queue. Printer columns are only rearranged when the responsive column count or printer list changes.
Validation: the reproduction previously alternated between 281- and 296-pixel camera tiles; the fixed tile stayed at 334 pixels through twelve text changes. All 129 tests and 30 subtests passed, with Windows UI cases run in separate processes. The update preserves active prints and installs when the farm is idle.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.623
Print Farm now shows the matched file's embedded thumbnail, a printing/waiting/finished count, and the printer assigned to each run. A missing thumbnail is labeled explicitly.
Camera cards and bed badges share one status. A newer conflicting camera observation withdraws the displayed clearance and requests a fresh bed check. This display logic never authorizes a print or replaces the independent pre-start checks.
Active jobs now show alerts for a lost connection, printer pause/error, or prolonged lack of reported progress. Alerts do not stop or resend a job. Progress warnings begin after 15 minutes without a change, with a 20-minute allowance at 0% for startup.
Preview decoding and display images are cached with bounded memory. Large G-code files are hashed as a stream, state queries are batched, and progress alerts reuse existing telemetry without extra printer requests. A 200-run order now needs two state queries instead of 400.
Validation: 128 tests and 30 subtests passed, with Windows UI checks isolated from threaded camera tests; a read-only visual check confirmed the model preview, counts and printer assignments. Active prints continue uninterrupted and the update waits for idle printers.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.622
Print Farm now preserves an order's verified file after printing has started, even when a printer temporarily stops returning its file inventory. Orders with one active print and another waiting continue to show Printing with the remaining wait reason.
The printer transport now independently enforces the same 30-second bed-clear window as the queue, preventing an old camera assessment from being reused with a recent claim.
Validation: 122 tests and 30 subtests passed across Print Farm, live camera tracking, and self-update checks. The packaged files match the tested source. Active prints continue without interruption; the app waits for printers to be idle before updating.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.621
Distinguishes stopped printers from active jobs so updates can proceed after cancellation. Prioritizes product identity in file search, supports inspected local recipes, rejects multi-object layouts for single-item runs, and adds explicit recovery of invalid terminal attempts without erasing history or reusing job IDs. Validation: 83 tests and 22 subtests passed.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.620
Separates purchased quantity from runs per item. AI cannot multiply purchase counts; extra runs require an approved listing recipe. Generic shared words cannot authorize unsupported product identity matches. Revalidates pending matches, excludes invalid product attempts from fulfillment, and shows prints per item in the queue. Validation: 80 tests and 22 subtests passed.
Cale AI Workbench v0.5.619
Donation checks whether another contributor has a recent open draft for the exact same files and instructions before starting a model review. A match holds that area for up to 30 minutes after the draft was opened. Changed code, expired drafts, and unrelated areas remain eligible. This shares existing public draft information and preserves saved submissions from v0.5.618.
Cale AI Workbench v0.5.618
Donation skips an exact public code-and-test scope that maintainers already reviewed, before sending it to a model. The Audio-to-MIDI case fixed in v0.5.613 is the first entry. Changes to an assigned file or its instructions make the area eligible again. Saved drafts also recheck the reviewed scope before making a new GitHub submission.
Cale AI Workbench 0.5.617
Adds thumbs up (100%) and thumbs down (0%) file matches to completed prints and pending approvals. Remembers account-specific listing and exact-file feedback, preserves completed history, and retains clear-bed checks before starts. Separates bed visibility from raised objects and normal haze, distinguishes hardware overlays, and fixes misleading unload prompts after check expiry. Validation: 77 tests, 22 subtests; two rounds of live read-only camera checks.
