EngineX OS 5.3.0.1.1 (Hotfix)

Custom firmware for Engine OS 5.3.0 standalone decks (SC5000 / SC5000M / SC6000 / SC6000M / PRIME 4 / PRIME 2 / PRIME GO / Mixstream Pro).

Decks on 5.3.0.1 or 5.0.4.2 are offered this hotfix by the online update (Settings → About / Update). USB/SD install works as before.

Fixed in 5.3.0.1.1 (#48)

  • Rekordbox re-export: exporting again with more music now shows the new playlists. Large additions no longer time out the conversion; playlists are written at once and the remaining tracks' cues and waveforms are filled in on the next insert. Cues and loops made on the deck are kept.
  • exFAT "format to FAT32 or exFAT" warning: the stock unsupported-storage message no longer appears. It came from partitions without a file system on the same card (EFI or hidden); a drive that cannot be mounted simply does not show up in the list.
  • Spotify login "code expired": a login now stays valid for 30 minutes, long enough for an email code and a "new device" step. Reloading the phone page keeps the earlier login link working.
  • Repeated TIDAL login prompt: Engine's TIDAL login and pairing dialogs only appear right after you pick a service in Sources, and stay closed while another service (NetEase, Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud, Beatport) is selected.

Streaming login

  • NetEase Cloud Music: the deck shows NetEase's own QR code at once; scan it in the NetEase app. An expired code is replaced when you tap it, with no flicker.
  • Phone login pages for Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud and Beatport open in English (or the deck's language) with an EN | 简体中文 | 繁體中文 switch and step-by-step guides.
  • Deezer: logging in with your ARL also enables lossless FLAC downloads (Deemix) for Spotify, NetEase and Deezer tracks.
  • SoundCloud: enter your username or profile link. No password, Artist Pro or API app needed; an oauth_token under Advanced adds private playlists.

Release gate

Built, tested and gated natively on an ARM build host. The release gate covered the online update 5.3.0.1 → 5.3.0.1.1 and a full feature check of the new image for all three image groups.
