CellScript 0.33.0-alpha.2
Pre-releaseCellScript 0.33.0-alpha.2
Edition 2027 is the sole source-language contract across the native compiler,
packages, language services and browser metadata. Alpha APIs remain subject to
change.
Publication authorization: on 2026-11-05, the maintainer explicitly waived
further gates/CI for this publication and requested immediate release. The final
backend run was stopped at that request. Incomplete or failed runs retain their
actual outcomes; this release does not claim a complete final backend pass.
Source commit: f7a7a0f6458dec594f75bd0e2c8cd65fa914a1e2.
Current contract
- Metadata 75, lowering records 12, typed semantics 12, semantic
foundation 4, and package interface 6 use the current reader shape.
Deployment manifests usecellscript-deployed-v2; generated action builders
usecellscript-generated-action-builder-v1. - Ordinary actions, locks and lifecycle operations share the checked syntax
kernel. Omitted public visibility is represented asimplicit-public.
Public generic value layouts require explicit fixed, serializable, non-linear
parameter bounds. Remaining structured identity work under #96 stays open. - Packages explicitly declare
edition = "2027"and a compiler requirement.
cellc lockperforms an intentional repin; frozen build/check/test validate
existing pins without network access or writes. - Compiler/checker records, Registry readers, builders, adapters, examples and
proposal consumers are aligned with the browser WASM and editor source/assets.
Fixture identity updates preserve the declared business cases, rejection
expectations and resource budgets. - Manifest-aware LSP snapshots include unsaved package files and imports.
Invalid packages cannot produce successful semantic hover metadata through a
standalone compiler fallback.

Actual validation scope
| Evidence | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Complete CI and dev gates | Passed on the same compiler/checker implementation before the final recipe/documentation/ledger updates |
| Commit gate | Passed for the final source candidate |
| Native release build and artifact smoke | Passed: frozen production ELF build, source-aware compiler verification and independent standalone checking; the receipt records build revisions and byte-identical reuse |
| Recipe identity refresh | Independently audited; 60 artifact pins match actual ELF bytes; tools integrity 8/8 and structured-vector/VM tests 14/14 passed |
| Final business ledger tests | 7/7 passed; native corpus validation passed |
| Browser/editor and ecosystem consumers | Local builds and checks passed; exact source/asset evidence is retained in the receipt |
| Final complete backend gate | Intentionally stopped at the maintainer's request; no complete pass |
| Final-source full strict audit, stateful production replay and counter-node acceptance | Not executed to completion; no pass claimed |
| Full release / release-quick gate | Not run; further gates were waived for this publication |
An earlier backend attempt rejected stale audited recipe identities before node
startup. The full code/derived-Script identity repin then passed the focused
checks above; it is not relabeled as a completed live-node replay.
Gate Rust test runs used toolchain 1.97.1 with host test optimization
CARGO_PROFILE_TEST_OPT_LEVEL=1; main gate commands used CARGO_INCREMENTAL=0.
Debug assertions and overflow checks remain enabled;
DSL compiler strategies, resource budgets and serial CLI/iCKB execution retain
their declared settings. Native release binaries use their release profile.
Assets and boundaries
The native archive contains cellc and the standalone artifact checker.
publication-receipt.json, the validation archive and SHA256SUMS record the
actual source revisions, evidence scopes and distributed-byte checksums.
This GitHub update does not assert crates.io publication, website deployment,
Marketplace publication or Myelin external-pin adoption. Browser metadata is
separate from native ELF admission. Reserved ExactCellSelection, unsupported
dynamic-element/open-view semantics and application-specific production proofs
retain their documented boundaries. Finite/local evidence does not establish
arbitrary program equivalence; research equivalence remains NOT_PROVEN.
