Already have version 7.0.0?

Version 7.1.0 uses a new signing key, so it cannot update over 7.0.0. Uninstall 7.0.0 first. That deletes its saved games. To keep them, choose Saved Games, then Back up saves in the old version, and use Import backup after installing.

What's new

• The Back button now closes screens instead of quitting the app on newer Android versions.
• The app no longer adds a log file to your Downloads folder on every launch.
• A new browser version that needs no install.

Good to know

• Tested on an Android 16 emulator and in Chrome and Edge on Windows. Not yet tested on a physical phone, an iPhone or iPad, Safari or Firefox.
• Online play is not available yet, because there is no public chess service.
• Many battle animations are early versions. The sci-fi Starward Covenant armies are not available yet.
