A crash fix for Windows. If you're on Windows, get this one: in v0.1.1 and earlier, the game could crash when Bond opened his phone for a new MI6 message.

You need your own copy of the game: a disc image of the American release (SLUS-01272), as .bin + .cue. No game data is included.

Downloads

• Windows 10/11: twine-pc-v0.1.2-windows-x86.zip. Unpack anywhere and run twine.exe. It's portable: settings and saves stay in the folder. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
• Linux (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12, Fedora, Arch, SteamOS...): twine-pc-v0.1.2-linux-x86.tar.gz. Unpack and run twine.

Updating on Windows: to keep your settings and saves, copy the twine folder from your old install next to the new twine.exe.

Fixed

• Windows: the crash when pressing Tab to read a new MI6 message. The Linux build wasn't affected.

Added

• Windows: port.log now records more about a crash, which makes bug reports much easier to trace.
