Two conveniences: a way to skip the intro, and portable installs you can move.

You need your own copy of the game: a disc image of the American release (SLUS-01272), as .bin + .cue. No game data is included.

Downloads

• Windows 10/11: twine-pc-v0.1.3-windows-x86.zip. Unpack anywhere and run twine.exe. It's portable: settings and saves stay in the folder. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
• Linux (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12, Fedora, Arch, SteamOS...): twine-pc-v0.1.3-linux-x86.tar.gz. Unpack and run twine.

Updating on Windows: to keep your settings and saves, copy the twine folder from your old install next to the new twine.exe.

Added

• SKIP INTRO on the Options screen (or skip_intro = 1 in twine.ini): the game starts at the title screen, without the boot animation, title card, legal screen, logo films or intro film. The Movies menu still plays them. It's off by default.

Changed

• Portable installs: disc and bios in twine.ini can be relative to the game's folder (like .\_ISO\game.bin), and a disc or BIOS you choose inside that folder is saved that way, so you can move the whole folder.
