What's Changed

Fixed

• Batched background-process notifications no longer show up as messages you sent. When two or more background processes finished together, the server delivered them as one injected prompt tagged display_kind="process_complete" — a [IMPORTANT: 2 background processes completed. …] header followed by one Command: / Output: report per process. The client had no case for that declared kind and its text-shape fallback only recognized single-process notifications, so the whole block was rendered as a right-aligned user bubble. It is now a centered timeline notice: the collapsed bar shows the process count ("Background processes finished (2)") and tapping it opens the full text with every nested report. Single-process notifications keep their existing first-line notice, and stored rows render correctly with no data migration.
• The cron run-detail replay now shows every server-declared machine notice (process_complete, async_delegation_complete, internal_notification, model/personality switches, auto-continue) as a system row instead of a user bubble, reusing the same classifier as the chat timeline.

• The model picker now asks for confirmation. Tapping a model or a thinking level used to apply the change and close the sheet immediately, which made it easy to switch by accident and impossible to change a model and a thinking level in one go. Tapping now only moves the selection (checkmark / accent highlight) and keeps the sheet open; a new Cancel / OK footer applies the changes with the existing per-change config.set calls — only for values that actually differ — and then closes the sheet. Cancelling, tapping the backdrop, or pressing Android back writes nothing. The sheet is disabled-safe (OK is disabled while loading or after a load failure), the selection is reset from the server values on every open, and a committed guard prevents a double tap from applying twice. This applies to the Android app, the Windows/macOS desktop apps and the browser build (mobile bottom sheet and web/desktop centered dialog share the same component).

• Queue messages while a reply is streaming. Typing during a turn no longer forces a choice between waiting and interrupting: a Queue button sits above the interrupt button (stacked vertically, so the input keeps its full width on narrow screens) and the input's default send action queues while the AI is busy. Queued messages appear above the input box with a per-message cancel control, go out one by one as soon as the current turn ends or you tap Interrupt (using the server's queued drain semantics so they never hijack the live turn), and survive disconnects and app restarts — they are persisted per profile + durable session id.

Fixed

• Drafts no longer disappear after restarting the app. The input draft was stored under the session's live id, but the gateway recycles idle live sessions (orphan reap, idle TTL, restart) and session.resume then hands out a new live id — the draft was read back from a different entry and looked lost. Drafts and queued messages now share the durable session identity (profile + stored session id).
• The streaming scroll-follow smoke test was still clicking the pre-i18n label of the jump-to-bottom button, so its first scenario had been failing since the i18n migration renamed it (test-only fix).

• Chat images can be tapped to open a full-screen original-image viewer on mobile, desktop, and web (close button, Android back, and Escape all dismiss it).
• The attachment panel gained an Original image checkbox next to the single photo picker: it uploads the untouched bytes and keeps the original filename extension (up to the server's 25 MB limit) instead of re-encoding to JPEG. Compressed upload stays the default, and re-uploads after a reconnect keep the chosen mode.

Fixed

• Background-process notifications ([IMPORTANT: Background process …]) injected by the server no longer appear as messages you sent. They are rendered as centered timeline notices showing the notification headline, expandable to the full command/output text — in the chat timeline and in the cron run-detail view. Cron job prompts and skill injections, which share the same [IMPORTANT: envelope, keep their user bubbles.
