v2.7.2
pip install -U iai-pmeAdded
- Codex CLI gets ambient memory.
iai-mcp capture-hooks install --target codexwires the four hook scripts into~/.codex/hooks.json— uninstall and status parity, idempotent, and hooks you already had are preserved. Capture, per-turn capture and both recall hooks work on Codex unchanged. - A cue that names a date finds that day. "on July 4", "in March 2026" or an ISO date earns records created on the matching day or month a bounded rank boost. Cues without a date rank exactly as before, and ambiguous month words ("may I ask") never trigger it. Stored vectors stay pure text — encoding dates into embeddings measurably drags unrelated same-day records together.
- Injected memories now say how much to trust them — each hint carries a relative age (
Jul 14 (13d ago)), a fact that already replaced earlier beliefs is marked↻N, and both surfaces state the contract: the older or more-revised a memory, the more it deserves re-verification. iai teachreads office and book formats —.docx,.pptx,.xlsx,.rtf,.epub,.tex,.bib— with no new dependencies, parsed with the standard library and guarded against decompression bombs and XML entity attacks.- Sleep mines entity links: consolidation draws
entity_sharededges between memories naming the same identifiers, so recall spreads along "same thing mentioned" paths, not similarity alone. - Blind retrieval harnesses for LoCoMo and ConvoMem, plus a portable longitudinal export and its reference scorer.
Fixed
- Wheel installs report their real version again —
iai --versionprinted0+unknownfrom the published wheel. - A look-alike clique can no longer outrank the real answer: cold-path ranking degree counts earned edges only. Measured as a 1.2 pp R@5 loss on 500 natural questions, fully recovered (0.962 / 0.978).
- A superseded fact never outranks the fact that corrected it.
- The dashboard's search dropdown has a solid backing, so hits no longer blend into the graph behind them.
