Comfy Desktop 1.1.9. This promotes 1.1.9-rc.5 to stable. Changes since 1.1.8:
Comfy Agent
- Agent downloads no longer hold up launch. Desktop downloads the agent's packages in the background and uses them on the next launch, instead of making you wait. (#1787, #1791)
- The agent stays usable when an update can't be applied. Desktop keeps the agent you already have, and the matching ComfyUI frontend with it, so the Agent button doesn't disappear. (#1800, #1901)
- Agent updates can move an installed package up when the new agent needs a newer version, instead of failing. (#1793)
- Agent run events and status values are now reported correctly. (#1799, #1806, #1808, #1890)
Fixes
- Install wizard: the starter-template step no longer gets stuck after scrolling Configure, and Configure no longer scrolls into empty space below the form. (#1898, #1930)
- Linux .deb: declares libasound2 and libgbm1, so installs on minimal Debian and Ubuntu systems get the libraries they need. (#1797)
- Updates: a clear error when an install has no origin to update from, and no more endless refreshing of the installs list while offline. (#1796, #1794)
- Settings: changing settings from a placeholder screen no longer launches ComfyUI or reopens onboarding. (#1730)
- Accounts: a sign-in applies to the next ComfyUI launch without restarting Desktop, and opening a new instance that was never signed in no longer resets your account status. (#1781, #1784)
- Each launch gets its own session folder, even when two start in the same millisecond. (#1790)
- The unused agent connection (MCP) button is removed from the sidebar. (#1747)
Known limitation
- Where pypi.org is unreachable, installs can be slow or fail even with a PyPI mirror set, as in 1.1.8. A fix is planned for 1.1.10.
