Research agents

• Research subagents now stop after a context-window overflow instead of retrying the same oversized input on fallback models.
• Completed subagent tools no longer remain marked active when Pi backfills a result without a separate execution-end event.
• Logical subagent failures now reach the model as failed tool results. The model no longer treats an invalid or failed research-agent action as success.

Web research

• Opt-in Gemini Web research on Windows can now read Chrome and Edge v10 cookies through current-user DPAPI.
• Chromium v20 app-bound cookies remain blocked and now return a clear diagnostic instead of a false authentication success.

Validation

• Ported only the focused upstream pi-subagents context-overflow, tool-result backfill, and logical-failure corrections into the bundled research-agent runtime.
• Added exact-source, restored-runtime, installed-package, model-loop, tool-result backfill, logical-failure, and native Windows DPAPI regressions.
